Loved our stay with beautiful views

Alan was a beautiful host who greeted us and got us settled in when we had arrived later in the evening. The view from the room was beautiful and the 10-15 min walk to town was super convenient. Breakfast was served in the room every morning and Alan gave us tips, fun facts and conversation about the different sights at Isle of Skye.

Beautiful home with a fantastic view, spacious room, and wonderful host!

This is one of the best vacation rental properties that we have ever stayed at. The back window looks out at a beautiful body of water straight out of a postcard. It's walking distance to the cool little town of Portree and a short drive to many of Skye's attractions. Breakfast was amazing. There were multiple options to pre-order and cooked to perfection. One of the best parts of staying here is Alan delivering the food directly to your room each morning. He goes over the top to make sure the guest(s) feel welcomed and have everything they need. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I would return to Skye and stay at this property in the future.

Our stay at this B&B were absolutely wonderful! Allan was an exceptional host who took the time to share his knowledge of local dining and area sightseeing. He always made sure we had whatever we needed. I read one review disliking breakfast being delivered to the room versus to sitting in a dining room. Personally, I loved that Allan delivered breakfast to our room. So very convenient! I could drink coffee and eat breakfast in my room while enjoying the beautiful view from my room.

An exceptional stay with fabulous views!

We loved staying at Alan & Alex’s place. It was exceptional, probably one of the best B&B’s I’ve stayed at. Beautifully clean, many thoughtful touches, an amazing breakfast, and the bed was fantastic. I would highly recommend An-Airdh.

A great place to stay with a warm welcome

We really enjoyed staying here and found the place very relaxing with fantastic views over the Loch with the ever changing view out of the window. We were made to feel very welcome by Alan who showed us our room and explained things to us and gave us suggestions of places to visit on Skye. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was brought to us in the morning as we had ordered it the night before, where you had a large selection to choose from. Everything was very well organised which we appreciated. The town centre of Portree was either a short drive into the carpark or a 15 minute walk. We did the latter in the evenings to our various booked restaurants as the town does get busy.

We were so happy with this accommodation. The room was very nice and the beautiful view over the lake had a different look to it over the course of the day. Allen is a delightful person who goes out of his way to be the perfect host. We thoroughly enjoyed hearing his stories about Skye! Breakfast was great and the parking was appreciated. Book early!!!

3 night stay in Portree

Lovely stay in Portree with such beautiful ocean & Mountain views. Downtown was just a 15 minute walk which we looked forward to each day. Our room was quite spacious & comfortable. Breakfast was very good, arriving at our door each morning. Our host Alan gave us lots of insider hiking/adventure tips that you don’t read about in the travel guides - all so awesome.

Great location and what a view.

The room is high quality with a great modern bathroom, the view from our room (7) was breathtaking. It was very clean and the breakfast was very good. The bed was extremely comfortable. Alan is a great host and very open with suggestions. The photo is a view from our room.

For Skye this B&B might be good value for money as Skye is expensive and the quality of the room was high but compared to others in Inverness and Fort William it was way more expensive. That at the others the room was serviced daily but not this one is the reason for a 9 and not a 10. The bathroom had towel warmers so they were always dry but you like someone to clean out the rubbish etc daily.

Perfect location--away from town noise, but you can walk to town in 17 min. Lots of choices for breakfast. Alan is the best host you will ever find anywhere--he is lovely. Photo below is what you will see from the enormous window in your room.

Very enjoyable stay in a quality room with great views, would highly recommend

The location was excellent near to the Centre of Portree, lovely room, comfy bed and clean room with a large TV and amazing views from the room, breakfast cooked to order which was very tasty. Also worth a mention was Alan who was the host, very helpful and informative which came in very useful.

The breakfast is delivered to your room each morning whereas my personal choice would be to sit in a dining room, however this is not a criticism as the breakfast was excellent, as was the owner.

Well located, relaxing B&B with exceptional views

This was a cute little B&B with an exceptional view. The hosts were lovely and very informative during the whole booking and check in process. The room was well appointed with an amazing view. The place is a good 10mins walk out of town but I believe the view and room is worth it. The place has parking. Oh and the breakfasts were very tasty with a good variety.

Great B&B in a great location, fair price. Very short walking distance to Portree town centre. Parking lot is included. Beautiful large room with an absolutely stunning panorama view. Very comfortable bed and a nice seating area. Large, modern and clean bathroom. Very good breakfast choices, served to the room so one can enjoy a very silent breakfast with the fantastic view. And Alan and Alex are the most welcoming hosts ever seen. Absolutely highly recommendable

Great short stay

Breakfast was exactly what we ordered even had fresh milk for coffees during the day. The view from the room was breathtaking. My personal favourite as I am sensitive to overperfumed rooms this was not just immaculately clean without pretend smells.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay here while in Portree to celebrate our Golden Wedding anniversary and were made to feel very welcome by our host Alan. The en-suite room was very clean, spacious and comfortable and our breakfast, delivered on trays each morning to our room, was delicious. We had a wonderful view over Loch Portee and saw stunning sunrises each day. We would highly recommend An-Airidh to other travellers to Skye.

Fantastic stay here. Very friendly, accomodating owners. The room had everything we needed and was very clean and spacious. The B&B is in a great location, with incredible views from the room. Only 15 mins walk to Portree Harbour and a good base for exploring Skye. Breakfast was great with good selection to choose from and was nice being delivered straight to the room. Will definitely stay here again when next in Skye!

Amazing. booking longer next time!

Had a terrific trip to An Airidh with sunrise views and at night we could see all the stars. Alan was the perfect host very friendly and attentive. Superb breakfast option which was delivered promptly and very tasty. Room was very modern, clean and well furnished.
