The house is absolutely fine but not more. Fixtures for curtain cords are falling off the wall, some of the heaters are rusting, the silicone on the bathtub is coming off, the garden wasn’t tidy, lights didn’t work (would not go on/off), I couldn’t get the cupboard in my room open, the curtains don’t block out the light, a mirror in the bathroom was chipped/rusty… but the local rental was extremely friendly. And the house is in a great location within walking distance from Portree town centre.

House was great, location was great - right next to a play park for my daughter, near a Co-op for supplies and 15 mins from Portree centre.Only knock off 1 star because the heating was either fully off (when we arrived) or fully on (after they came to fix it) - the timer/heating controls didn't seem to work at all. But they were very reactive and tried to sort as best they can, so thanks for that! I'm sure it'll be fixed for the next guests! Overall, I would fully recommend this as a place to stay in Skye. :)

Great place! Ample space for our crew, the afternoon sun through the patio doors was so wonderful--beautiful patio outside, we love the flowers! Thoroughly enjoyable stay, and plenty of provisions such as soaps and toilet paper!

This house was clean and comfortable. Our group of 5 family members had a nice stay here. The Co-Op was just around the corner to buy food. The kitchen was nice to make our own meals. The washer in the kitchen and dryer in the garage make it nice to wash our clothes mid way through our Scotland tour.

If you are looking for a lovely home to stay at when you are visiting Skye/Portree area this home is the place for you. Large kitchen and sitting area are very inviting. We appreciated how quick the response was from the management company with any questions we had. Location is perfect, the home is only a 10 minute walk to the restaurants and shops in Portree. Cute house in a centrally located neighborhood, within walking distance to groceries and downtown Portree. House was well stocked with kitchen essentials and was comfortable for our family. One bedroom could stand a new mattress as our kids could feel some springs. Also some blackout curtains would be great in the Spring/Summer months as it is light most of the day and night. But other than it was cute and nice and we’d recommend it to others.

Great place to stay! Portree was incredibly busy. The accommodation was large, plenty of space for family, has its own garden and parking spaces. It was clean and well equipped and comfortable. We were pleased to be able to cook our own meals as kitchen had full sized fridge/freezer and full sized cooker. Garden lovely and sunny with garden furniture for an evening drink! Thank you would definitely stay again!!

I would just like to thank the owners of this beautiful accommodation. The house itself was immaculate and has been taken very good care of, beautiful decor, spacious and the beds were beyond comfortable. The location quiet and very family friendly it was perfect for us as we were visiting family in Portree, close enough to walk into the town centre. The owners themselves were also extremely helpful and very nice and easy to deal with, recommending activities for the kids etc Highly recommended, I miss sitting in the garden with my morning coffee and beautiful views already thanks again

We picked this VRBO for its location. It’s centrally situated for day drives around Skye. It is also ab easy walk into the main shopping and eating areas as well as the food Co-op. It was quite chilly the first night and we couldn’t figure out the thermostat/heat. We quickly got a helpful reply. Someone even came over in the morning to check. My one suggestion is to add a “renter’s binder “ with information about check in/ out, appliance user manuals, Portree restaurants, etc. We were three adults and there was plenty of room

Easy to follow instructions! The house was as it shows in the pictures and has everything that we need during our stay. The location was good too, near to the supermarket 1 min drive and 5 mins walk, and near to most attractions in Skye. We had a lovely stay in the house with the facilities available and easy communication with the reservation manager too.
