The Croft House Portree

It was close to town. All rooms had bathrooms attached, and with queen-sized beds each.It was clean, with all appliances in good working order. Kitchen was well-equipped. We watched the 2026 World Cup final here. Peaceful surroundings.

Not a big issue: but since you asked - there was no wardrobe in any of the rooms, but there were spaces to hang clothes.

Three double rooms was excellent and each with a bathroom was a really useful luxury for us traveling as 3 adults and 1 teenager. The beds were super comfy. The kitchen was well equipped. We had a minor issue initially but the owner got it sorted straight away with no fuss. WiFi was free and excellent and it was useful in the evening having a TV with Netflix we could access. The house was a short walk (10 mins or less) only to the Centre of Portree so a good location. And Portree was a good central base for exploring Skye

Very much not-picking here : No tea towel provided. Also as there was a washing line in the garden would have been great to have access to some clothes pegs. The feather duvet in one room was a bit prickly. One of the en-suite bathrooms was a bit cramped meaning loo seat would not stay up unless held which was not ideal for the men.

Very cozy. I traveled the week before and was able to do my laundry. Did need to purchase shampoo as it was only provided in one bathroom.
