A perfect place to stay! Marlena is a very gracious host. Every little touch was so thoughtful and welcoming. Very comfortable and very, very clean. We definitely want to stay here again!!

Great location within walking distance to everything in the charming town of Portree. The apartment is wonderful, and so is the host Marlena! Marlena goes out of her way to assist with everything you could imagine. She is beyond helpful, as she genuinely cares about her guests and their stay at 13 Matheson Place. The apartment is fully equipped with all of the items needed to have a great stay! Everything works perfectly and the apartment is comfortable and very quiet. The private parking was a bonus too. We would return to this apartment in a heartbeat and recommend it highly for other travellers.

We absolutely loved everything about this place! Not only was it beautiful and comfortable, our hostess thought of every last detail. Marlena has created a little pocket of paradise in an ordinary neighborhood. The weather wasn't great while we were there, but the outdoor space was pretty to look out on as well. The seating and little kitchenette were a very nice bonus. Most comfortable bed of our nine different lodgings. Continental breakfast items were ready for us and we took full advantage. Hands down best coffee of the whole trip. We might need to buy that Bosch! =) The location is convenient, quick access to the route out of town and just up the road from a grocery store. It was nice to have a parking spot. Marlena met us to offer sightseeing opportunities and advice on local restaurants. Such a friendly outgoing person, that was a highlight. This BnB made me want to skip sightseeing and just stay in bed! Book it immediately, you'll be glad you did!
Just one suggestion--maybe add a lighter comforter or quilt option. We were a little warm even with the heat off. Otherwise, perfection.
