Room is as per pictures. The shared space upstairs with the massive terrace was great. The other guests weren't using it, so we had it to ourselves. It's worth noting this space has two rooms which are rented separately, but if you rented both you would have a fantastic space. Check in is all virtual which I like.

The recording of how to get to the room is really helpful apart from a few critical parts walking through the sassi when it's looking at the ground. The shower kinda floods the floor a little.

El alojamiento estuvo muy bien cuidado y la habitación era muy cómoda. Los espacios comunes, con comedor y una terraza realmente agradable, hicieron la estadía aún mejor. Lo mejor: la ubicación en pleno centro histórico, que permite sentirse completamente inmerso en la historia de Matera. Muy recomendado.

Todo estuvo estupendo

Camera elegante, dotata di ogni confort, letto comodo, aria condizionata potente. La cucina al piano di sopra, provvista di tutto oltre a due splendidi terrazzi panoramici. Posizione eccellente, dentro il Sasso Barisano, ma in una via tranquillissima. Allo stesso tempo a due passi dalla piazza principale. Siamo stati benissimo.

This accommodation was nothing short of extraordinary from start to finish. Every single detail had clearly been thought through with so much care, and it showed in every corner of the place. The location was simply ideal, and the interior was breathtakingly beautiful, right down to the smallest detail. You could tell that real thought and love went into curating the space. Check-in was smooth and completely hassle-free. The owner was always available, always helpful, and genuinely caring about our comfort. Honestly, staying here felt like a privilege. It’s rare to find a place that combines this level of aesthetic beauty with such genuine hospitality. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We already can’t wait to come back!
