Great find next to the main Sassi area in Matera. It’s easy to reach on foot, but make sure to check with the host for the best route as we didn’t do this and ended up getting lost in the stairs 😀 Overall, we had a positive experience.
A small improvement point: the breakfast could include more fresh options.

Superb communication and friendly reception. The room was a traditional cave room which was clean, fresh and very comfortable, offering everything we required. So quiet at night we haven’t slept better! Breakfast offered more than ample choice. Hubby loved his large cafe latte served with a smile every morning. Being able to enjoy an aperol spritz in the courtyard early evening to relax after a very hot and full day, was an added bonus! Overall, cannot fault the service and we thank all the staff for a wonderful stay. We would thoroughly recommend and not think twice about returning.

Everything! Great location, wonderful clean, spacious room! The hosts were fantastic, great communication. Advised us on parking and use of shuttle bus. Did I mention the roof top terrace and breakfast? We would stay here again! Highly recommend for your stay in Matera!
