Huge, very comfortable room in a very cute/modern hotel right in the center of Matera. Very nice shared terrace. Great location and staff was incredibly kind. They can arrange a shuttle from parking lot to the hotel if necessary as cars are not allowed in the center of the town.

Very close to everything and easy to get to on the bus Valarie was a great host explaining all the sites and breakfast was amazing!

A fantastic location and we had 2 unique, beautifully designed cave rooms. Matera is a gem of a place and reminded us of Goreme in Cappadocia, Turkey. Valeria and her husband were very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome
One of our rooms was open plan with an open shower and lots of mirrors - much to the horror of our 2 teens who were sharing the room with us! 🤣 We managed ok (e.g. showering when the others were not in the room) and found it funny but it might not be suitable for some guests. Also the shower was basically like a strong hose pipe rather than multiple jets of water which was a little strange
