Everything. Tudor was a very pleasant host and we enjoyed talking about history of the area. Very spacious first floor of the house to yourself - what an amazing experience staying at the cave house. The location was probably the best thing about this house - many people stopped by at the main gate to take photos of the cathedral at the top as a perfect background. Thank you Tudor for a wonderful stay.

Fabulous location and host was very friendly! Tudor's food recommendation was impeccable and we had one of our best meals in Matera there. Tudor has also a very friendly white Labrador that comes round with him each morning,
The place is somewhat dated, and in need for a refresh, mainly in the toilet where the tap seems to be dripping. As it is a cave, the floors can be quite cold so do bring your own bedroom slippers

This is a magical space in an ideal location. Beautiful, large space owned by a sweet and talented artist whose work adorns the villa. The courtyard is a welcoming outdoor area, the balcony provides a great view. Spacious, lovely and inspiring space.

Everything! Tudor is an exceptional artist who welcomed us with great hospitality. We wanted to spend the night in a cave, and it turned out to be an extraordinary experience. The apartment is perfectly located, and Tudor helped us plan our stay. We highly recommend it!
