Cave was such a unique experience! Location was great, right near a lookout area. Spa bath was nice, fit two people. Typical European breakfast (focaccia, cornettos, breads, cereal).
The address given was incorrect. We went to the address listed and were met at the door with a poor Italian grandma telling us that we were at the wrong place, clearly this was not the first time this had happened. The building is not well marked and I walked past it two times before looking up pictures to find that the address was wrong and I found the reception area. Parking recommendations were not helpful. We tried two of the three places recommended before just finding our own parking and it ended up being half the cost of the ones recommended. Lots to love about this place once you arrive, but getting there was a struggle.

breakfast was less than average for Italy. Coffee was not great and the food offering was very limited. The outdoor seating was nice.
the check-in process was very slow as the host informed us she had several ahead of us, some at completely different properties in the sassi. they need more staff. our room was not a cave and likely never was. it was in the sassi. overall omfortable.

Views from the property are stunning
We paid for an upgrade but the room did not reflect this. Be careful as the room you book on booking.com may not be the one your are given. The aircon is quite outdated so the sleep can be uncomfortable if the weather is hot. It is also very difficult to find the property - clearer details on the address would be appreciated
