"Fantastic location - right in the heart of everything, making it so easy to explore the town. Lovely restaurants just outside. 30 min walk to the bus station. There are regular buses to Bari and Bari ..."

Location is terrific. A 48 minute walk from the bus. A €15 taxi ride. The local driver like myself could not find it anywhere.. why? Because Booking calls it Stay Matera e sassi... and the door says something else! No one answered any calls from any numberA Miracle- an overworked, tired, angry, and rude housekeeper who came to change sheets at that moment, lucky me threw me the keys and left.
