We absolutely loved staying at the Conche Luxury Retreat and would certainly return if we ever get the chance to visit Matera again. To have the chance to sleep in a cave in the sassi of Matera was a highlight of our seven week trip so thank you for sharing this place with us. The host’s communication from start to finish was impeccable, her attention to detail was incredible right down to the comfort of the beds and linen, the cleanliness, the extra touches to the room, organizing parking for our stay, and the breakfast was top notch with savory and sweet homemade dishes as well as fresh fruit, and a variety of drinks to enjoy on their balcony or inside. 10/10!!

Beautiful room made within natural sassi.
Bathroom was completely open - no wall, no door. Extremely uncomfortable.
