We loved our stay. The apartment is in the middle of Sassi Barisano! The location is great and it is an easy walk to the modern part of town. The apartment is super clean and modern inside, with a very comfortable bed and a nice shower. The best part of our stay was the private terrace, the view of the Sassi is amazing! The host was super welcoming and gave us free tickets to the Casa Grotta museum. Good to know: The apartment is in a ZTL area, so you cannot park at the house, but there is a parking lot a 10-minute walk away for €10 a day. *****All of the attached photos were taken from the apartments little roof balcony!!!!!!
There is a little street noise in the morning and evening from near street and restaurant, but it didn't bother us at all.

Our stay at Rizvi Residence in Matera was absolutely wonderful. The apartment was beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located. The highlight was undoubtedly the balcony, which offered breathtaking views over Matera. Sitting there in the evening, taking in the magical night-time scenery, was an unforgettable experience. Matera is such a stunning place, and being able to admire it from the balcony made our stay even more special. The apartment is also within easy walking distance of many excellent restaurants, making it a great base for exploring the city. The host was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. I would highly recommend Rizvi Residence to anyone visiting Matera. It’s the perfect place to experience the beauty and charm of this incredible city.
Everything was perfect. Nothing we didn’t like.
