Great location,next to piazza Vittorio Veneto,the start of Sassi area.Our room and its private bathroom were very clean,comfortable and well-equipped.Mario is a super host,he was very kind explaining everything to us and giving suggestions about Matera's sights and food spots.Also,the breakfast he offered was fulfilling!!We 'd definitely choose him again for accommodation!Grazie mille,arrivederci Mario!!

The only thing is that the room is inside Mario's apartment, so the kitchen is shared(we knew that before),but we were lucky enough to be alone only with Mario.It was burying quiet!

The host was extremely nice with top tips where to dine and which places to visit. The apartment was wonderful, clean and quiet. The bed was comfortably firm, linen crisp and clean, and the pillows were good, my neck didn't hurt at all. There was a good and varied selection for breakfast by Italian standards. The location was perfect, only a few meters from the Matera center near the Sassi area. It is also a good, short walking distance from the bus stop at the city center (Aldo Moro), although 2 kms away from Via Luigi Sturzo bus stop.

I didn't like that we did't stay longer. 😊

Tout : l’accueil très chaleureux de Mario et Luca avec plein d’indications pour se repérer dans Matera ( ils fournissent un plan) et de bons lieux pour manger à prix abordables + emplacement du logement pour sa proximité immédiate du centre historique et des Sassi + propreté de la chambre, de la SDB ( non attenante mais réservée à cette chambre uniquement) et petit déjeuner très complet avec un croissant frais le 2 eme jour. Parfait pour découvrir Matera de jour comme de nuit. Excellent rapport qualité /prix pour Matera
