L' Infinito dei Sassi

Amazing location right on the edge of the sassi and overlooking it.

A few things needed repairing a little tired.

Great location once entering Matera and host available & communicates quickly via what’s app. Good room for one night with balcony. Easy walk to all sites & main square by walking. Enjoyed the tour discount offer and suggestions by host. Enjoyed the balcony with chairs during morning coffee and night time lights! Thank you!

Nothing we didn’t like — suggest review of outside stairs to be adjusted as one broken and to be fixed. It is an open concept room with two double beds that we booked but photos shared on website and very clear description by host.

Good location. Exceptional view of Matera from the balcony. Receptionist was helpful and suggested an itinerary for our stay. The cleaning lady was lovely, and when nobody was in reception, she made a phone call to get us a taxi, and came with us to instruct the taxi driver.

The sheets did not fit the mattress, the pillows were very flat, and obviously old. The bath towels were extremely thin, and one had a large hole in the middle! Everything looked a bit ‘jaded’

The best thing about our stay was definitely the beautiful view from the balcony.

There was a very strong and unusual smell, which was particularly difficult for me as I have allergies. I generally did not feel comfortable during my stay because of it. The breakfast was also disappointing. We were given a voucher for a nearby café, where the included breakfast consisted only of a coffee and a croissant. We had to order additional food just to have a proper breakfast, and unfortunately, the quality of the extra food was not very good either. Considering that breakfast was advertised as «included», I did not feel that it was really a satisfying included breakfast.
