Lo splendore dei Sassi

Questa esperienza è stata veramente indimenticabile! La casa è bellissima, pulitissima e dotata di ogni comodità. La cura e i dettagli di benvenuto sono state deliziose e aprezzatissime! La terrazza è un gioiello, passare delle ore lì è veramente senza prezzo! Particolare cenno a Mariella che è stata cordiale ed esaustiva in ogni informazione, davvero complimenti!

Se vuoi un PALCOSCENICO al centro di Matera devi prendere la stanza n.3 de "Lo splendore dei Sassi" e goderti la vista UNICA dal suo splendido balcone. IMPAGABILE. Questo spettacolo prevale su tutto anche se il resto della camera, dei servizi è di buon livello. DA NON PERDERE.

Unico piccolo consiglio una tenda intera per oscurare di notte la porta finestra di accesso straordinario balcone.

The location was great — right in the Sassi and close to everything. Even with loud music nearby, the room was quiet, and the water pressure was good.

But overall the stay wasn’t very accommodating. It was 38°C/100°F when I arrived, and since you can’t park in the old town, it’s a long walk with bags from the parking areas. I got there about an hour before check‑in, but early check‑in wasn’t possible — she told me it wasn’t allowed and that check‑in is strictly ‘as listed on Booking.’ Ironically, the iron that was listed on Booking wasn’t available when I asked. Communication only picked up once I reached out; they said they tried contacting me on WhatsApp but had the wrong number, which was strange since no other host had that issue. The AC wasn’t very strong, and because the electricity only works with the key in the slot, the room couldn’t cool while I was out — not ideal during a heat wave, and it took a while to cool down each time I returned.
