Lovely owners live nearby. The cottage is really cosy and well located to visit Hebden Bridge by foot and Haworth at 20 min drive.

Cozy little cottage.

Very quiet and peaceful, lovely views from the windows and warm and cozy on an evening when the weather was miserable outside.

Nothing really, WiFi would have been great but didn't detract from our mini break. Main door into cottage sticks a bit if locked which is probably why the owners left it unlocked for us and just locked the conservatory for access in and out. After locking it once and then struggling to turn the key later to get back in we followed suit and only locked the conservatory door.

Lovely cottage in the heart of Calderdale

The cottage is part of an old building in lovely grounds. It's a peaceful spot but within easy walking distance of Mytholmroyd village with its Sainsburys, Asda local and cafes. The cottage has been beautifully modernised with a light feel and it has comfortable sofas and beds and a walk-in shower. There's also a large conservatory. Jeanette our host, was very helpful and friendly. We'll definitely return!

Lovely location, reasonably well equipped. Excellent communication and guidance from the owners. Very cute little cottage - clean and nicely presented

My only bugbear is that for £140 a night I don’t expect to have to strip the bed. You would not have to do that in a hotel and I don’t see the difference.

Absolutely wonderful. Felt like home from home.

The keys were in a key safe, we had been sent the code, however our host happened to arrive just as we did, so she kindly let us in. We were extremely relieved as we had had an extremely stressful journey to the cottage (probs with our vehicle!).

It’s a gem of a place. Can’t fault it.

Lovely peaceful location, the cottage has all the facilities required. Nice walks to Hebden Bridge and Sowerby Bridge along the canal and there are plenty of good pubs and places to eat.

This place is now our new favourite place to stay during frequent visits to our Grandson!

We loved the location, the quietness, the beautiful taste and touches within the cottage and some of the lovely original features that had been retained (such as beams and original stones in places). We felt at home immediately, which is really important, particularly with a short stay like ours.

It's hard to say really. My son didn't like the fact there was no Wifi, as I had overlooked this and therefore hadn't told him. We will rectify this when we come next time by bringing our own - easy.

Lovely stay in the cosiest of cottages.

The cottage was clean and well presented with everything we needed, including some nice little touches. The location was great. We travelled up for a short stay to visit Haworth, and it was a great location as just 30 mins away with an interesting, scenic drive. Although there's no wifi, the mobile signal was good. Communication with the host was excellent. Overall, we loved it and would visit again.

The lights on the ground floor were a bit of a puzzle at times, as there was a delay when they came on and one of the lights operated the conservatory light which at times I hadn't realised I'd left on. Maybe a note reminding thickos like me which switch operates which light might be useful 😉
