Really cosy& warm, great location & like home from home
Could have done with an extension lead in the bedroom, as only access to one plug - more needed for charger etc & mirror in bedroom fir hair & make up

Lovely cosy cottage, nice decor, and good facilities.
Good location and communication, we would certainly recommend it.
Just a suggestion we couldn't find a plug by the mirror in the front bedroom.
For us, the bed was very low and felt quite small.

Great location within easy walks to central Hebden Bridge.
Cosy cottage
We found it difficult with the beds as they are both pushed up to the wall and we have joint issues and unable to climb over each other in the night so ended up in separate rooms which wasn't great.
And there was a very strong damp smell from the plate cupboard which was a little off putting but overall a pleasant stay.

The cottage is in an ideal location and is well equipped and comfortable. The canal walk into the centre is lovely and the pub just up the road is ideal. We had a wonderful time. It was our first trip away with our baby daughter and Alex provided everything we needed for a really enjoyable stay. Can't thank you enough for making our first family holiday really special.

The cottage is in the perfect location, a beautiful stroll along the canal into the centre..there was everything you needed . Comfortable, and cosy .and so handy having a lovely pub across the way that did food .
Probably my only little complaint, the towels were really rough after having a shower , but thats it .

Lovely comfortable and homely cottage in a fantastic location. Well equipped with everything you could need for a short stay. Parking right outside the cottage. Loved the outdoor seating area, a really nice touch. Just a short walk into Hebden Bridge, with two great pubs within very easy reach and many more to choose from in the centre. Would definitely stay again and for longer next time! A very relaxing family getaway.

Impossible to find fault with this lovely cottage. A short walk from town, but just far enough to find peace & tranquility. We are looking forward to returning soon!

We liked EVERYTHING. The decor is relaxed and cool but cosy. The lighting well thought out. It has all the things one gets in a house and is full of cottagey charm. Garden beautiful and the covered patio up the back stairs feels as though you are in an enchanted forest. My grandchildren would have loved it and I'm going to recommend it to them. Spotlessly clean and warm. We took a 5 minute walk to the Stubbings Wharf over the canal and had an excellent meal, followed by walks up and around the wooded area. It is so romantic here that we didn't want to leave! Oh, btw, the shower is hot and powerful and they provide GORGEOUS towels. Thank you so very much. xxxx.
Nothing could have been better.

The location was great as it was only a short walk into the local town & local pubs close by. The canal was just across the road so lots of great walks. The fact that they were dog friendly was a major bonus.
The only downside to the property is that there isn't a microwave.

Location was good. Fire in hearth could have been cleaner, electric candles would have made it cosier. Just little touches, really
Bed linen, fencing on stairs to terrace., little bit wider selection of glasses and crockery.

The location of the cottage and its age made this this visit outstanding. the cottage was VERY comfortable and our host Alex had ensured everything we needed as there waiting for us. Just a 3 minute drive from the bustling Centre of Hebden Bridge the cottage was very quiet and in a wonderful spot. Parking was easy less that 10 steps from the front door! Beds comfy and the kitchen well equipped.
The cottage has two chairs and a table in the small but well cared for front garden. At the back of the cottage on the side of a very steep garden a covered heated seating are was available at the edge of a forrest. This addition was OUTSTANDING and my wife and I enjoyed a glass of two of wine in this unique spot.
Communication with the host, Alex as very easy and we had a phone number if we needed help.
We love the area near the town of Hebden Bridge and will retune to this property many times in the future.
Overal a VERY enjoyable experience.
The was nothing we didn't like. ..everything needed as supplied by our host. We could have done with a little less rain ..but I don't think our host Alex could arrange this!

Just off the main road on a side street, but quiet. Really handy for a pretty 10 minute walk along the canal into town. A comfortable cottage with everything we needed for our stay. Lots of local information which was a nice touch. Good value for money.

Location, cleanliness, contact with host very good. Well-equipped. Quiet.
Unfortunately we couldn’t get BBC channels on tv. Tried with Alexa but didn’t work. Ended up watching Glastonbury on my iPad.
In front bedroom there is no bedside lamp for reading. No bedside table either. (For glass of water, book etc.)
We found the brushed cotton bedding too hot for the high and humid temperatures at the time. Some plain cotton bedding would have been better and much more comfortable in the heat. Relatively minor issues that didn’t spoil our lovely stay, just giving feedback that might be helpful ☺️.

The setting was lovely and a short canal side walk into town.
Communication with the owner was spot on. He was prompt and professional.
Parking was available outside the property.
