It was very quirky and in a good location
We had to clean the saucepans and cooking trays before we could use them. There were dogs barking constantly every morning (not the owners fault) which meant we didn’t get very good sleep.

Moldy Warp Barn is amazing - the photos do NOT do the accommodation justice. It not only is comfortable, it is slightly quirky and very homely. You walk in to a spacious dining area which also has comfortable seating with a kitchen nook attached. All mod cons are in the kitchen area and it is well equiped with crockery, pans, utensils etc - we were not left wanting for anything. Also downstairs is a bathroom, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom - all lovely and clean. The original flagstone floors just add to the beautiful authenticity of the barn. Upstairs is an amazing space. At one end is a lovely kingsize bed with a canopy and privacy curtain, which was so inviting that we just had to use it! At the other end of the room is a lounge area with a good size TV, two very comfortable sofas and a leather arm chair - a great space to chill out in. And there's more....there is also a mezannine floor above this which can be used as a games room!
We booked the barn for 4 nights over Christmas and our host Fiona could not have been more welcoming. The barn was trimmed up for Christmas, including a beautiful Christmas tree and some festive treats were left for us. The barn is very dog friendly - we have a very fluffy dog and Fiona leaves many throws to cover furniture, which made us feel so much more comfortable. There is a bonus of a field opposite that the dog can be left off the lead on.
In summary, the barn is a perfect family base, near lots of places of interest and great walks, but what really makes this place special is the attention to detail by the host. Thank you so much, we shall return.

Just home from a lovely 4 night stay. This was our 3rd visit and as always it was amazing! The barn is very comfortable and cosy. We will definitely be back next year.

Beautiful cottage!
A lovely space to have as a central base for our week walking.
The cottage has everything you could need for your stay and truly feels like a home from home. just a short walk through the fields into Oxenhope, or along the train lines into Haworth.
The building is gorgeous, and kept us very cool during our weeks stay in summer.
Plenty of space for our 4 adults, 1 child & 2 dogs.

Friendliness of owner. Location, beautiful part of England. Lots of home comforts and little touches to feel at home. Well equipped kitchenette. Toiletries. Off road parking. Tastefully decorated. Chunky old barn. Barn door. Downstairs double bed comfy.
Septic tank smell in house which the owner sorted with bleach and was most apologetic for. The great care needed to negotiate the staircase up to the master bedroom/lounge meant we used the downstairs bedroom as we are often up in the night. The weather was bad so the barn felt dark as there wasn't really a view out to the countryside. I'd imagine in summer if you were out and about more this wouldn't bother you. The kitchenette/diner is smaller than appears in a photo but well equipped.

If you want something a bit out of the ordinary this is the place for you. It was very spacious. Quite strange when you think, all you are getting is the ground floor area and then you see the next level. (And the separate games area for the children seems an excellent idea) If you are a family then I think the fact there are 3 TVs means no squabbling if the weather was inclement. The kitchen was well stocked with all sorts of useful gadgets. Each time I thought I might need a particular item it seemed to magically turn up. Out in the countryside, plenty of fresh air, lots of interesting animals on site. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed himself. Do remember to walk out with your dog for its last wee of the night as you will have to keep it on its leash because of the farm animals. It is possible to walk to a very well stocked CO-OP in Oxenhope. For keen walkers they could even manage Haworth. (An excellent area for eateries)
The barn was very well supplied with crockery and I believe more glassware was on its way. The couple who run it were most helpful and informative.
We’re getting on a bit so the steep stairs were a bit problematic but as it’s a very old barn one has to accept compromises. The charm far outweighed any difficulties.

Great location, we were up north for a christening, actually booked for five people but one couple had to cancel. Dog friendly as well.
only able to use ground floor as dog not allowed upstairs, although would have been difficult if it was, the stairs to upper living room are not easy to negotiate for an 85 year old never mind a dog. Hence we just used ground floor, whilst enough sleeping space for 6 people, it would be very cramped.

Very characterful barn accommodation. Space well used. Well maintained. Good kitchen for making proper meals. Good heating, hot water, shower. Very comfortable beds. Farmyard location authentic with delightful goats, dogs, cats, donkey etc. Very friendly hosts. Good walks locally (especially across fields to Brontes’ Haworth) and further afield. Loads of shopping options (by car). Nearest chip shop in Haworth excellent.
Steep steps to first floor level where main lounge and “master” double bed is. Almost no natural light in this spacious lounge room (tiny historic castle-like slit windows in the thick thick walls) - but great for watching Sky TV on the very comfy sofas. Only one toilet in the property - which was in the only bath/ shower room.
