Really enjoyed our stay, the property was immaculately clean, comfortable and generally well equipped.

The Property was well situated in a nice location, well equipped, comfortable and nice and warm. We would certainly consider using this property again if we are in the area, providing or concerns were addressed.

The drive way was quite narrow for modern cars and had a concrete lip of4-6 inches, because the neighbors drive was higher, that could easily damage bodywork and further restricted access. Also the outside light did not work The central heating boiler was a little noisy, we had to turn it off when we went to bed or it disturbed our sleep. They requested that guests wash up and wipe down in the kitchen after meals but did not supply washing up liquid,dishcloth etc. We bought our own and left it for the next guest. There wasn’t any winter weight bedding we had to improvise and use the quilts etc from the other bedroom. Fortunately there were only the two of us staying.

Lovely place close to lots of things to do

We weee at a wedding at Holdsworth house and it was just 3 minutes away. It was a very clean and comfortable house with everything you need.

The only problem I found as a disabled traveller the settee in the lounge is a futon bed so I wasn’t comfortable

lovely stay and we woyld book again

it was warm and cosy. there was little touches kike toothbrushes, shampoo and conditioner. very clean. very big back garden if you need it. local shop at the wnd of the street. there was a drink for 2 cars. 2 good sixe bedrooms and a pullout bed in the livingroom. wifi connection.

A shame the property is let down by uncomfortable furniture .

Great boiler , nice and warm . Plenty of tea bags, coffee and sugar . Quiet location with off road parking .

First impressions were good, till we saw the un-ironed quilt and sheets on the bed. After one night of our four night booking , we had to leave due to my wife being in agony with a bad back caused by the very uncomfortable Low sofa bed in the lounge and the poor bed mattress with no support . We contacted the owner, Sophie, as we left but have yet to receive a reply, four days after leaving . The property really needs a “ proper” settee ( not a thin sofa bed), that doesn’t need 3 Cushions as back support and a bed of far better quality and support .

Perfect bungalow

Great communication with host Charming, clean and just what we needed for an over night visit. We were gutted we didn't book for longer , it was just ideal. 5 mins from the moorlands inn where we attended a wedding.

Comfortable and spacious.

Lovely comfortable, clean bungalow with plenty of room for 4 of us. We enjoyed sitting out in the garden with a glass of wine. It was well equipped, and it was easy to find everything we needed. The shower was excellent and immaculately clean. There is plenty of parking too. Great location for getting to the Piece Hall for an event, being close to a bus stop, and not too expensive for a taxi home.

A couple more wine glasses would be useful.

Terrible.

Nothing,we could not stay at the property as it was u hygienically unclean.

There was faecal matter coming out of the bathroom pipe , foul smell and flies on arrival. Inside door looked like there was blood smudges! Outdoor bins wete overflowing so nowhere to put our waste, if we had stayed. Food residue on plates, cups, baby highchair , on table and on wall next to the table. The freezer door would not shut as it had iced over and was already full of food. !Mouldy milk residue in fridge. Under beds had not been swept or cleaned. Host was contacted and she suggested sending a cleaner round, but after a 3 hour drive to the accommodation we had paid for, I would expect it to be clean already. Not sure why she hadn't checked it before hand. Host has denied me a full refund, nor yet offered a partial refund. How disappointing 😞 .

Excellent property, safe parking and ideal location for Piece Hall gig.

Spacious, well maintained with lots of utensils needed for a short stay. Particularly liked the welcome folder that had useful numbers, takeaways & local taxi companies. Comms from owner was excellent too. Would definitely stay again.

Nice little bungalow in a nice area for exploring Halifax.

The location was great, nice and peaceful. The property itself is a nice size with large garden unfortunately due to weather we didn’t get to go in. Had just about everything needed for an enjoyable stay.

No plug for the kitchen sink making washing the pots difficult. No corkscrew for wine. Needed a clean under settee/beds. Bins/recycling hadn’t been emptied. Crumbs (?) in second bedroom bed.

Ok first time staying in someone’s home won’t be doing it again going back premier inn or Travelodge

It was very good for the birthday party we were going to

I didn’t realise it was 3 double beds and not any twin beds we had 3 foster children with us who can not share beds so had to go out and get an Airbed and sleeping g bag for one of them and didn’t like there wasn’t a lounge to sit in . We also couldn’t get tv on because we didn’t have an account and the fridge wasn’t clean we got some milk and left it so next person can make a brew

Great location for events at Holdsworth House Hotel

We stayed while attending a wedding at Holdsworth House Hotel, the location was great. The bungalow was easy to find with on drive parking. Spacious rooms and a good size garden. The property was clean on the surface but the floors were dusty around the edges and could do with a deep clean.

No toilet paper, we had to buy some from the local shop. Things left in the fridge and freezer that needed to be thrown away.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The bungalow was perfect for myself, partner and our little one. It was very clean and welcoming. We all slept very well as the beds were very comfy.

Although we understand the need for the sofa bed in the living room it was very hard so was uncomfortable to sit and relax on once the little one was in bed.

Modern, clean, cosy bungalow with excellent facilities and a great host!

Lovely accommodation! Very bright and modern with loads of space! The whole place was lovely and clean and smelt beautiful when we opened the door. Shower was fab, beds comfy, lovely fluffy towels, spare blankets and a very well equipped kitchen - even spare toothbrushes in the cupboard! The bungalow had everything we needed for a family stay and the host was super friendly and helpful, contacted me in advance to see if we would need the spare bed or travel cot setting up. The heating was on when we arrived and the fire was a welcome treat on a chilly evening in-front of the TV. We had travelled for the Eureka children's museum and the bungalow was the perfect location. We would definitely book again.
