Location perfect, cottage quality excellent.
The only problem was there wasn’t enough glasses or cups.
For example only 2 champagne flutes
There was only 2 wine glasses and 3 mugs. Given that the property is only 5 minutes from The Carpenters Arms this was disappointing.

Lovely comfortable and well fitted out room in great scenery. Staff at Carpenter's Arms for collecting/returning key were good - the only contact with anyone about the property. No one else seemed to be staying when we visited. Could have taken up the discounted breakfast at the C Arms, but chose to go to Mannions in Helmsley instead!
It was a very hot day and night (>30C), but that is British weather just now.
