Very well located

The property was well located for us, since we had a car. Very close to the airport and lots of amenities. Despite being our first time in Belfast, we did not feel any pressure in any way. It met our expectations and would definitely go back. I found that the street was quiet enough considering the location. The property was clean and the owners were always available to help.

Great base - would definitely come again !

Very efficient and fast communication with host. Comfortable and cosy little house. We really appreciated the throws and cushions. Great to have a washer and dryer (second extension lead would be useful).

Both double beds are quite narrow- as expected and according to description. One suggestion to make the cooking facilities match the general comfort would be to add a few pots and pans.

Clean property and super helpful hosts!

We needed a place to stay for a family wedding. This place was perfect. Spotless property and brilliant location. Hosts were fantastic and couldn’t have been more helpful - even asked if we’d like to check in early so we could get ready before the ceremony!

Convenient accommodation possible for both rail and car transport.

Good value, clean facilities in a convenient location: near a station but also possible to park nearby. Owners helpfully provided instructions for lockbox well in advance (while I still had home internet access). Quite quiet for an urban location (at least during my weeknight stay).

There is no curtain or frosted glass preventing people from the street seeing what is going on in the house through the front door. Similar problem in the kitchen (which is overlooked from other houses) as the window blind is stuck and cannot be closed. The garden is a horror: not a plant of flower in sight apart from thigh-high weeds, but fortunately I was not planning to use it much anyway. One of the bedrooms is separated from the bathroom along a landing interrupted by two sets of two steps, which have no handrail and are adjacent to the main stairs (which themselves have no safety gate). This could be dangerous at night particularly for the elderly and children, although happily as I was alone I could sleep only in the small double bedroom adjacent to the bathroom and was unaffected. The bath had no plug, but like most experienced travellers I always carry one in my suitcase.

Very clean and comfortable property in a really convenient location.

The property was really clean and comfortable. It was incredibly conveniently located just off the high street for shops, places to eat and the train station. The bed was super comfortable. It was great to get so many channels and apps on the TV. We were given early check in and also offered late check out (due to a couple of issues we had during our stay).

The heating wasn’t working when we first arrived. We had to phone up the owner who talked us through resetting the boiler. It would have been good if that had been reset before we arrived. There was a note saying it was £5 an hour to heat the house after 5 hours per day of heat had been used. I called the owner in a bit of a panic as I wasn’t sure how to work out how many hours we had used and also it was February and very cold. He said he hadn’t enforced this with anyone so far. I don’t think 5 hours a day would be enough heat in winter to be comfortable. We were unable to use the whirlpool bath as there was an issue with the plug which was disappointing as it looked amazing!

Great family base

The house was very easy to find and a perfect base for our family holiday. The guest book had great recommendations too and the price was great.

We saw the note that said you get charged if you have the heating on for more than 5 hours which was a bit off putting with it being very cold and windy when we were there. However we did find that keeping the curtains and blinds shut did keep the warmth in but we could only have the heating on in the evening.

Great location and close to all local facilities. Hosts were quick to communicate and pleasant. Clean and comfortable. Dog friendly secure back garden. Toiletries provided if you do not have your own. Streaming services on the telly. Good value for money.

Parking was very limited (school holidays are this week so could be a factor) the grass in the picture is Astro turf (for fussy dogs like mine who only go to the toilet on grass we had to go try find some grass each time,again no big deal) could do with more plug sockets and more crockery/utensils. We only had 3 people so enough for us.
