Great location, spacious property, but animal smell an issue.
Very spacious property. Comfy bed. Premier shop 2mins away and lively town of Treorchy a 20min walk. Train station 10min walk. Easy check in and check out with key box.
Didn't realise bathroom was downstairs when booking. Not a huge problem, just a preference of mine. Shower didn't get very hot and couldn't be put on full as the drainage wasn't quick enough and would overflow. Biggest issue was a very strong smell of animal downstairs (like a urine smell). Maybe from previous guest's pet? Thought it might dissipate but was there the whole week. We did try to locate it but couldn't work it out. Is a shame as the property looked spotless.

Inside Lovely Outside a Mess
The house was spacious and lovely. Everything worked inside the house.
We did not want to use the backyard as it was very unkempt and the outdoor furniture was very uncomfortable without cushions. There was rubbish and dog faeces. There were two big piles of garden waste left on the decking. I was very concerned that while we were out one day, someone had entered the property and had removed the two piles of garden waste without our knowledge, which made us feel uncomfortable, as we had all our valuables in the house. We chose this property specifically for the outdoor space and felt let down.

It was very cold when we first arrived and the bathroom stayed quite cold even with heating on.
