Perfect little quant quiet stop off - beautiful stream running nearby and felt so peaceful

Perfect get away location to switch off and spend time with family.

Nothing to dislike, the property location was perfect, the accommodation was lovely and it was really quiet, gave me the perfect opportunity to switch off and spend time with the family after a stressful day in work. Clair the host was very kind, polite and accommodating, we will be visiting again.

Please don’t advertise for Rent especially when you have kids!

Location was okay however no communication from Host and unanswered calls. Long day travelling to come to a property which was not clean and really itchy sofas and bed sheets.

Cosy little place

Lovely little place, nice view out of the window. The place had everything you needed. Comfy bed. Clean sheets. The cakes left for us were a nice touch.. Also fresh milk and there were Christmas decorations. Looks cosy.

First off the directions.. it was so pitch black and pouring down and we were getting frustrated because we couldn't find the place. WHEN YOU GET TO THE END OF THE ROAD AFTER THE SIGN, TURN LEFT AND KEEP DRIVING TILL THE END. WHERE YOU GO THROUGH ONE GATE AND ANOTHER. You have to drive through another property to get to it. Had I known this it would have been easier. Unfortunately the bath was not clean enough for me to have a bath. (what is with all the bars of soap. 4 opened bars on the sink.)

The location is great, about 15 minutes from Llandovery. There's a garden that backs onto a river, and it is surrounded by some of the best roads you could ask for.

Steps up to apartment not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. Wouldn’t stay in this particular apartment again due to this reason but would definitely like to stay in another property at another time as such a lovely location

It's a really beautiful place. Everything is so thoughtfully placed. Our kids also enjoyed the games that were provided, which we could play together. Sadly, we only had one night, so we didn't have that much time to enjoy everything, especially the beautiful nature of this place.

Although not luxurious, the property is a real gem and beautifully located.

Beautiful tranquil setting and we enjoyed taking a bottle of wine to enjoy down by the river. The property is self-contained above the owner's but we were private (although the property is in a small complex of other properties and we were slightly ticked off by the neighbour for having parked outside the property rather than in a designated space that we hadn't spotted). We really appreciated the ease of key collection and the fact that milk and basics had been left - we've stayed in other remote properties before where the owners haven't been quite so thoughtful! The property has a lot of charm and has been well designed with excellent utilisation of the space. It's a real gem.

It's always difficult to understand why a lovely property doesn't have equally lovely soft furnishings. We would recommend more being spent on bedding which unfortunately was cheap and the mattresses were not what we would hope to find when spending a night away from home. Ditto the sofas. It also felt as if the carpets and sofas could do with a deep clean. As we only stayed one night none of this spoiled our enjoyment of the visit.

Great stay at a lovely rural property in the heart of west Wales

Lovely renovated property in a rural location set by the side of a small river. Facilities were great, and it felt like a 'home from home'. I only wish I was able to spend more time to spend there....... maybe another visit soon!

Just the location is nice … very relaxing…

the staff: Never answered our phone calls , Tried 11 times , (it was ringing /not out of signal at all) to let them know we have additional visitors and to pay extra. Instead they text me back after long silence with unkind messages… they charged 4 months old baby and 2 year old baby at adult rate…we don’t mind paying the infants.. no problem… but the problem is the attitude of person who runs the place….Ruined our weekend…Hope this will not happen to others …

We enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the warm welcome from the host and the well equipped kitchen

Clare was a lovely host, she met us upon arrival and had treats for the kids in the freezer (it was a very hot day!) and also supplied us with a surprise box of fresh towels and treats for the kids mid-week. The kitchen was well equipped and like others have mentioned, the games box was appreciated. Other little thoughtful touches were books that the kids could read, and also a picnic mat that came in handy.

Beds were a little on the soft side (but could just be us!) and stairs up to the property might be tricky for those with mobility needs (although we were fine)

I can highly recommend this gem of a place to stay. We're sure to return!

Spectacular location by the riverside, on a large farming estate close to a nearby village with pubs etc. Very quiet and secluded, close to nature. We had lovely weather, and eating breakfast & dinner outside in the shade of the trees left lasting pleasant memories. Claire, the owner is a lovely lady - only too happy to help.

Nothing really - I'm not a huge fan of synthetic pillows but that's my personal choice.

Beautifull place to stay.

The Place is stunning and very nice place to stay for a few people or Family has everything you need for a nice weekend away or week with family.

Only think i would say that wasnts Perfect was could of had some housecleaning before we arrived as there was a few Spiders around and cobwebs in places like shower and little dusty in areas but nothing that put off 4 Bikers as we still enjoyed are stay. oh and trying to get Taxi or Food delivered is really hard as its little out of the way but not problem for people in cars
