Perfect spot for a relaxing and peaceful short break

Very comfortable, clean and cosy, with all the kitchen utensils we could need. Address easy to reach. Beautiful views, nice little village with nice coffee shops and pubs.

A lovely property in a very special location

The property was comfortable, modern clean and comfortable set in a very beautiful location with wonderful views across the Brecon Beacons. It didn't have shaver sockets in the bathroom for our electric tooth brushes but that was easily remedied by getting a converter at a shop nearby.

We had no cause for complaint, sat in the house listening to the birds and animals of an evening admiring the view was the perfect end to a day of sightseeing.

Amazing owl barn

Everything, the finishes of the barn are outstanding with excellent utilities. The views of the Brecon Beacons are outstanding, I was worried I would be cold but it was really warm with the heating locked on a comfortable temperature which was perfect. I recommend getting up early making a pot of tea and watching the sun rise over the mountain line, you won’t regret it 🙏😁

Spectacular

The house is just fantastic and has been done up really well. It is extremely well equipped and we really enjoyed going through what others (spices, pasta, oil, etc) had left in the cupboards to see what we could find! It's in a very rural and quite far from the closest village, really making it feel tranquil and isolated, just what we were after. Our host recommended a few walks in the area, which we enjoyed as well. We would absolutely go back, thanks Jon for having us

We received 8 pages of instructions on how to check in/check out/manage the rubbish/things to do and not to do... which was quite daunting! Perhaps these could be thinned out a bit to make it more digestible and the 'must dos' could be separated from the recommendations ang guides - just a suggestion and would still go back even with the 8 pages of instructions :)

Owl noises after dark

A lot of space for two. Nice.. modern interior. Cosy.. comfortable and great located. Lovely view on stars in the dark supported with owl noises. Very friendly owner who promised switch off button for the rain as option to choose next time.

Perfect place with a stunning view, quietly situated in the fileds. The house is nicely decorated, very comfortable, and spacious for a family. Jon sent detailed and helpful information before the stay. Perfect for hiking in the national park or visiting the towns around.

Almost excellent. The host was charming and the location was excellent. We had a lovely time and I would stay again.

The minor gripes I had were discussed with the host who promised to rectify them. I believe it was a temporary blip and it should not put off other visitors.

Homely and modern

it is a very lovely cottage with astonishing view. very clean and feels very homely. There is also a patio in the back of the property with access to a shared communal yard/garden.

everything was great about the property itself and it is certainly maintained very well. The only downside is that the nearest town does not have a lively center neither we could find a gastropub within 10 min drive.

Beautiful rural location. House was spotless and well equipped. Could be tricky to find but the owner provided detailed instructions. Great showers and plenty of hot water. Would definitely stay again.

Just make sure you have everything you need before you get there as it is very rural.

Lovely place too get away from it all.

The view and location were amazing. The barn is very big and spacious. Showers were really good with lots of hot water. Clean.

Single bed (temporary) was a little small for a teenager. Windows could have done with a clean on the outside. A broom would have been helpful. Not clear where the BBQ was.

Lovely place, beautifully designed and furnished. Close to walking areas and a local supermarket fir food supplies. Recommend you order a delivery of groceries for your arrival day so you can maximise your walking time in this scenic area.

Great Location clean house with everything and more you would want

Great location. The information that the owner sent was great and easy to follow to get there. The barn was very nice and clean with all the things you need and more. Had some very nice finishing touches that made us feel very welcome. Easy for walks and you could have gone on some great walks from the barn but we had already planned ours maybe we will go back some time.

All of it was very good once we got there. Had some issuse with the booking before and was going to change the booking but glad we did not was worth it
