An absolute gem in a great location. Feels nicely remote but with local amenities only a short walk or drive away with beautiful countryside right on the doorstep.
The cottage was full of character, very comfortable and well kitted out.
Some useful local information was provided by the host at the property, including local walking routes and maps that we made good use of.

Roger was very helpful and friendly, recommended some lovely dog walking spots and nothing was too much bother for him.
Loved that they are also eco friendly :)

This was the 4th time my brother and I have stayed in this cottage (Troed-y-Rhiw) It is a home from home. Very comfortable and clean, and Roger and Katie are lovely hosts; helpful and friendly.
The only downside is the lack of signal for the TV. We had to ask Roger for help in negotiating a way around the remote to get the channels, which he gladly gave 😊
