Beautiful area, house is lovely and excellent value for money.

The location was incredible. Beautiful views and very peaceful and quiet. The property had everything we needed for our stay. Rooms were very spacious, beds were comfortable, plenty of seating both inside and out. The kitchen was well equipped .

I don't like to be negative but the kitchen in particular was not very clean. We ended up buying bleach and cleaning products to clean up both the sink and worktops. Yes there is a dishwasher but you need a clean sink to prep food etc.I would also say some of the kitchen utensils and pots and pans are getting a bit tired now and could do with replacing although were functional. A barbecue is provided but there are no utensils to use which meant we couldn't actually cook on it which is a shame. I appreciate the cottage is old but there were an awful lot of dead flies and cobwebs around the property and the floors were not as clean as could be. There is so much to like about this property just small details and it would be perfect.

lovely place, plenty of space, lots of potential and needs a better internet system and mobiles do not work

stunning location, plenty of space for everyone. washing machine & dishwasher being available was a real bonus and the games room was enjoyed by the children. The welcome book was very informative and assisted us when looking for shops in the area aswel as walks.

the welcome basket had out of date products, the cupboards were full of previous guests left overs which clearly hadn’t been checked and there was sprouting garlic and potatoes. The internet barely worked, there was no privacy on the window in the lower bathroom as you can be seen from the garden area when using the toilet and shower. The welcome booked requested we clean (not a deep clean) the kitchen before we left yet when we arrived we cleaned the tiles, splash backs and cupboard doors table and chairs as they had clearly not been done after previous guests, the welcome book also stated there would be 4 hand towels, 2 bath sheets and 2 bath towels in each bathroom when we only had 1 hand towel in each bathroom (8guests for 5 days including children) and 6 towels various sizes but thankfully we brought some of our own otherwise we would not have had enough for everyone. some of our same problems had also been written in the visitors book by previous guests

Location is incredible, completely secluded farmland witha stream running through it, stunning views. Property has everything needed for a comfortable stay.

A great place to meet up with friends for a relaxing couple of days away.

Location is superb. Beautiful scenery and very quiet. It was lovely to be able go walking from the house which is the main reason that we chose this property.

A lovely place once we got over our initial disappointment.

The location was beautiful and remote with lovely views and great walks all around us. It was a fair distance from the main road but we were happy with that. The beds were comfortable and the living room roomy enough for us all to sit together in the evenings. The kitchen was well-equipped but we couldn't get the hob to stay on which limited our cooking options.

When we arrived and started to bring in our food we found the kitchen was dirty - The fridge freezer was black with dirt , the grill pan was covered in meat and fat and much of the cutlery in the cutlery drawer was not clean. The high chai was covered in food too but we left that as we didn't need it. We could have done with a mop and bucket as we had several spillages and one child was sick and it was difficult to clean up without a mop. We could get the hob to heat but it wouldn't stay on so we couldn't use it and this limited our cooking options!! The television in the room with the football game didn't work either but it didn't worry us as we used the one in the other room.

just the greatest place to spend with big family for special occasion

it was in the most gorgeous location, hosts were very organised and the place felt very much like home! great for big groups/ families as very spacious. lovely decor throughout and just all in all great vibes.

the location is slightly further away than anticipated from local towns, however this didn’t ruin our stay at all and can be expected when in such a remote part of Wales. just pack heavy and make sure you food shop before!

Amazing location and lovely house and farm yard - lots of history

Drive up track to house may prove tricky for some low vehicles - we have a truck so were fine but sister in law struggled with vw golf low suspension. If holes get filled it will be fine.

Three day break

The house was clean and tidy, ready for our arrival. Tea and coffee was waiting and it was lovely to get back, light the fire and chill. The weather was great and allowed us to go out for some great walks in the surrounding hills.

Nothing not to like, but we didn’t appreciate how remote the house was, so had to plan the day to appreciate the 25 minute drive along the single track paths/roads to get to a main road and the local shops.

We were given crystal clear instructions to how to reach and access the property. The welcome folder was very clear and assisted us with collecting the keys upon arrival from the key lock. Steve, the owner, was punctual, polite and welcoming. The property was spotless and all the facilities were functioning and comforting. The area of the property is amazing and requires a vehicle to move around.

Everything was just perfect for us.

An amazing countryside farmhouse with everything you might need!

We were given a welcome package of chocolates, squash, household goods and a helpful folder of info on the property and surrounding farmland on arrival. You have a massive area to call you're own and you won't be bothered by the owners. The house is cosy and well furnished. The kitchen is a good size and there is plenty of storage space for a long stay. This is a great stay for a family or a group of friends, highly recommended for the adventurous!

Not much bad to say really, other than the lack of mobile data/phone signal, which will be the case in most remote countryside properties! The decking could have a parasol, but that is only a minor thing. The roads leading up to the property are a bit bumpy so be prepared if you have a small car. There are so many good things about the property so it's definitely worth booking!

This is a good, rural location on a working farm, perfect for those looking to spend time in the Welsh countryside, but still have mod cons such as washing machine, dishwasher, Smart TV with netflix, and good-speed broadband.
