Relaxing .

It was quiet location .we went there for valentines treat .and because I have cancer due to start treatment so I wanted somwere quiet surrounded bye nature trees grass .and this was exactly what I needed .loved it .we want go again .

The jacuzzi could done with jets being bit better ,not pushing out bubbles as such for massage you should be feeling .not good at all .very poor .Just like sitting in normal bath .

Brilliant, can't wait for our return visit

Brilliant location, just the break we needed, away from it all Had a log burner, which we loved and took full advantage of. Pool facilities were great and open new years eve and new years day, which was great to break the day up.

Kitchen facilties could do with an upgrade, but other than that there was everything we needed in there. There's nothing negative i can really say, we were so happy with it we have booked again!

Thinking of booking…. DO IT!!! You won’t regret it!!

This place is so relaxing! We stayed with 4 teenagers (aged between 13-16) and it had everything we thought we needed plus more! We even got in to completing a jigsaw each night… which surprisingly, the kids really enjoyed! It was a wholesome activity we didn’t expect to engage in and gave a good 3 hours quality time together! The lodge was so cosy and much bigger than expected! The log fire was a treat and added to the cosy vibe in the evening. Everything was clean and the main bathroom looked to have been updated. The grounds are beautiful and reminded us of the staff lodges in the film Dirty Dancing… which was available to loan from the DVD collection! Queue another impromptu activity with the kids, introducing them to an absolute classic!! We got the train from Carmarthen to Tenby (40 mins) which only cost £24 return for all of us. For anyone that hasn’t been Tenby is a little gem of a place! Finally the staff were so friendly and accommodating and really made us feel welcome! We would highly recommend this place!!

Excellent base for outdoor activities and to explore the area.

Well equipped with modern kitchen. Fast wifi Convenient for Brechfa and Hafod mountain biking. Excellent for road and gravel cycling too. Lots to do in the area. Enough to fill a week away easily. Facilities such as pool on site a bit dated but still good with panoramic view. All staff very friendly.

The location was brilliant and very private

The lodge was very dirty- microwave and oven were not cleaned - we cooked our meal as we don’t eat from outside. The terrace outside was again dirty and full of dried leaves . There were spider webs in all the rooms corners.

Accomodation itself great, rest below average.

The hot-tub.

There was almost no water in the plumbing, taking a shower was impossible. That no good reason for it. The restaurant took ages before we got our dinner. The dinner itself was without any taste.

A lovely short stay with young kids

The setting is beautiful, peaceful, rural. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, kind and helpful. The swimming pool was great and never busy.

The lodge itself was a little unloved. It could do with a deep clean (the cobwebs everywhere were letting it down) and perhaps a dehumidifier to keep the musty smell away.

Very enjoyable stay surrounded by woods and hills.

Nice facilities. Comfortable bed. Living area very spacious.

It was a bit dated and tired looking. A few cobwebs in the bedroom and bathroom. The shower was not powerful enough. The hours of opening the coffee shop were too short. Nice if it opened in the day.

Over all the place was really good to stay because of open space to big families for also outdoor.

Kitchen area was clean and with good facilities and living room was comfortable.

Bedroom matters was to soft in all other properties also. We stayed in button lodge where the shower room was really small to use for showering from the top with no adjustments, so was really disappointed on that point because it should have been premium bathroom. And also no washing machine in button.

Good base to explore....

It is a good base to explore Wales, there is nothing nearby. The property had everything we could want and was clean and tidy. It included a hot tub and was nice and modern. The pool and facilities are very dated but clean.

We didn't have any water all morning on our first day, this affected the whole area so wasn't their fault but extremely frustrating. The sofas are extremely uncomfortable and need replacing, or at least re-filling. The beds were not comfortable for me, but fine for the kids.

Relaxing beautiful Lodge in a beautiful area

This place is absolutely beautiful. Lovely welcoming staff. The Lodge is very well laid out spacious and very comfortable. The grounds are lovely to walk around. The swimming pool are is very good which we thoughly enjoyed with our family. Loved this place and hope to return again in the future

Lovely location but no attention to detail which was disappointing and spoilt our stay

Hot tub wasn't ready, en suite shower was blocked, kitchen utensils were still in dishwasher, cleaning standards poor, bedding for s0fa bed didn't have covers- really unhygienic, restaurant wasn't open despite being told it would be on arrival- had to then make last minute arrangements for food for children

A very enjoyable short break with plenty of things to do.

We enjoyed the tucked away location with many attractions nearby. Our kids were excited about the log cabin and swimming pool in particular.

The lodge was well equipped with anything needed at hand. Generally clean but quite dated interior and decor. (Both lodge and public spaces) Small things I would change are the slightly mouldy shower curtain, missing remote for TV, soft mattress for the double bed. I am however picky here. Overall everything was functional and available or it was possible to work around ( like switching channels on the TV)

Excellent, one of the best places I have stayed over the years.

Such a beautiful place in green surroundings, the wooden log cabin blends so perfectly with nature, just giving an artistic impression. Feels like a hill station with really open space, maintained immaculately. I am sure anyone would fall in love with this place, it's that good. Facilities are good too, used the gym, pool, jacuzzi & sauna. And the best part is the staff, all the staff be its reception guys who helped at 9 PM in the night when struggling with finding the entrance to the gym/pool attendant, they were all very friendly & helpful. Highly recommend this place to all people who looking for quality time in nature.

Could improve on the direction sign from the main road, given the location & lack of visibility in the night.

Much Delightful stay

Everything from the cleanest, cosy cabin to the use of pool, sauna, lil gym. Lots of places to walk not far from Pantglas. Took our own food supply as cabins are conveniently self contained. Smell of farm life in the morning and afternoon! 😆

Hubby and I did a somewhat wellness detox retreat! So if you're going to use a blender or Electric juicer, suggest take your own as maybe some of the cabins may not have them. Everything else was perfect!

A decent size cabin. Warm and cosy during our winter stay. Stocked with what you need. Pool, sauna and spa very nice. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The location is very peaceful and perfect for those who want to get back to nature. Well worth with the visit!
