Location was great for our stay in Swansea but property is very tired need a good freshen up

We had a very nice stay

The place was very clean. It was nice and it had a homely feeling. It was a home away from home. Kitchen was well equipped and very clean. Although situated next to a main road (it was noisy towards the morning) it was very well placed. Lots of shops within a mile distance including a huge Tesco. Few minutes walk away there was a Subway and a Dominos. It was 10 of us including a baby and we all felt really good in the house. Also the driveway next to the house was big enough to fit two family cars

Too noisy for my liking. Sorry!

Comfortable beds. The boiler stopped working so we had no hot water and heat on the 2nd day but Jessica got someone out to fix it and the house was warm and cosy for the rest of the week.

House fronts onto a busy main road. Very dangerous trying to reverse into the parking area. We would have to wait until there was a break in the traffic. You can drive straight in, but then it would very dangerous reversing out onto a main road! Everything was clean apart from in the kitchen where we had to wash cutlery and pans as they were greasy. I believe whoever washed them previously, must have used cold water! The kitchen floor was also sticky. Cooker knobs are broken. The only way to turn on the cooker was to use the actual metal spindle which was not easy. And I had to clean out a 'gunky' plug hole in the sink in the bathroom (yuk!) Other niggles - Front bedrooms - very noisy traffic until around the early hours of the morning but would get woken up by the lorries. It's worth getting ear plugs. No controls on radiators (or they were broken). No oven mitts so had to use a hand towel. No extractor fan in bathroom so steam set off alarm. No mirror in bathroom (odd!) No curtains on kitchen window which was drafty (as was back door). Defeats the object of having a radiator there. Could not find any table mats so were worried we would get charged for any marks on wooden table. Used kitchen roll sheets to avoid this problem. For larger groups of people - The house can sleep up to 10 people but there is only a dining table for 6. There were 3 of us so we were ok; the house would be more suited to 4 (maybe 6!) people as the kitchen is very narrow and the main room would not be big enough for any more. Remaining rooms are all bedrooms.
