Beautiful location with amazing views - peaceful and quiet as remote location
We did have to drive quite far for tourist attractions but we also loved the remoteness of the cottage

Stunning vistas.

The property was roomy and clean. The location was fantastic, breathtaking views to be seen. So quiet and peaceful. The nearest town was only about 10 mins away for when you needed some supplies or fancied having a wander around. There is plenty to do within the area also. The host was friendly and extremely accommodating. Thank you
The only thing would be the WiFi, it didn’t seem to work, had to connect the tv to our phones 4g signal.

Location was great, property was comfortable and clean. Games room was good. We had a great holiday.
No problems really.

The remoteness and tranquility of the location made for excellent walks and experience. Cottage itself was cosy and rustic while having all modern amenities.
The views all around were spectacular. We did not see any one during our stay or on our walks.
We loved our stay. The creaky floorboards and thin walls added to the rustic experience of a cottage in the hills.

location was great loved the views.
there were lots of flies and I mean lots of them 30 plus in the main bedroom every day more. the frying pan was very dangerous as it the handle just allows the pan to spin freely leading to hot food falling on the floor and being ruined.

Merlin barn was amazing!! Middle of nowhere, so peaceful and views to die for. We stayed with our 3 children who loved seeing the chickens pecking about every morning and had lots of fun in the games room. Everything was clean and all the facilities you would need. Beds were comfy and the barn was very cosy. Not too far from brecon beacons and plenty to explore there. Very tranquil, peaceful place for a relaxing getaway.
Nothing negative to report at all

Everything was brilliant. Really enjoyed ourselves as a family. Stargazing, sceneries, peaceful and relaxing.
If I had to be a bit picky. Besides being peacefully remote, the most local shop is about 10 minutes drive.

Stunning countryside location more like the South of France then Britain
Very comfortable bed and the room was cool even if it was very hot.
We was working nights and the host allowed us to check in early and out late which was very helpful.
We had no complaints

This authentic farmstead is located between hills and sheep pastures away from the fray. Our cottage "High Barn" boasted three full bathrooms and a washing machine, which was very convenient since we did go for long hikes every day. The kitchen was full-sized, albeit with a rather small fridge, and fully equipped (although some of the items, especially the large pot and pan very worn). The living/dining room was comfortable but there is no DVD and no way to access streaming services on the TV. If you like listening to the radio, it is best to bring your own. During the warmer months it might be nice to use the outside deck in the back of the building, which has a nice view over the hills, and for children the Games Room is definitely a plus with its convertible table tennis/pool table.
The beds were rather unwelcoming and there was absolutely no Wifi anywhere, which made planning our outings rather difficult. Also, unfortunately, there was quite a lot of debris (mostly metal) lying around in the yard outside our deck, which must be especially annoying for the adjacent cottage "Merlin Barn" since its terrace goes out onto the yard (and manure). When we had trouble with the heating, there was no one available to help us, because the owner lives two hours away, so we had to put up with cold bedrooms.

The owners were very responsive and helpful. The games room was handy as it rained for 2 days. It kept kids entertained. Good location for people to do bike riding / hiking. Good Kitchen.
The noise of the floor when walking upstairs.

Location. Beds were relatively comfy. That's it for positives.
The property is extremely old and worn out. The carpet at the entrance was disgustingly dirty and old. Spiders and spider nets all over the place. Kitchen appliances and dishes had to be cleaned by ourselves upon arrival. Having paid lots of money for the stay I have never imagined that I would start my holiday with cleaning dirty stuff in this accommodation.

The space, the games room, the views. Beautiful setting on a working farm but not bothered by anyone. Chickens, cows and dog roaming around, would be great for kids. Easy to find on sat nav and very spacious. Would highly recommend. The games room was a great hit to keep occupied.
Liked it all

View was beautiful
Good kitchen/bathroom facilities
Comfortable beds
Remoteness
Property a little tired - needed a few details updated. Property on a working farm so flooring showed signs of wear. The outside space fencing made of bits and pieces which took away the 4* appeal. Wood burning stove in property, no wood left to use that feature.

Fantastic location, quiet and fresh air...house very clean and equipped with everything you need...12 minutes drive to the local butcher, bars and shops
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! *****
Everything is great...my little suggestion
1. Remove WiFi :)
2. Provide a few pieces of wood for fireplace
