It is a beautiful barn conversion with all the home comforts you could need. It was nice waking up to see the horses looking back at me across the yard.

Lovely clean accommodation, the cottage was very spacious and had all the amenities we needed, the beds were very comfy, we met our host and he was lovely.

Beautiful home

A real home from home. Beautiful property, wonderful hosts, provided everything we needed and more. Bev was very lovely to our little girl and involved her in attending to the horses which was a real treat. Very peaceful location too.

We feel so lucky to have found such a gem of place to stay over Christmas.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The setting is so peaceful with plenty of off-road parking and beautiful surroundings. The property is converted to a very high standard and is tastefully decorated with interesting information and pictures of the process and how it used to look. We stayed over Christmas and a tree, decorations and Christmas crackers were provided which were greatly appreciated. Bev was there most mornings to tend to the horses and was always on hand if we had any questions.

There really wasn't anything that we could fault about our stay. It really did exceed our expectations.

Exceptional

The accommodation was beautiful, very clean and spacious. It was lovely and cosy with the log burning stove. It was really well equipped with everything you need for a break away. I loved waking up and seeing the horses outside the window. We had an absolutely lovely break away and would love to come back again. I highly recommend! The owners were super friendly and really welcoming. Whilst there is a stable yard there too it does feel very private. The location is very rural but less than 20 minutes to Swansea. It is a very short drive to the reservoirs which are very beautiful. We did walk it one day from the accommodation but I think it is a walk best done in drier weather and perhaps in the summer when more people are using the route. It was really overgrown and boggy but we're pretty determined so got through it and on to the reservoir.

Being picky - the wifi which was very patchy and couldn't cope with us trying to do some remote working. However, I realise there isn't a great deal they can do about it given the rural location. After some googling about network coverage we made a dash to Neath to buy a Three sim and then had superfast 4G for the rest of the break. Again I'm nit picking but I think the owners should pop a curtain over the entrance door - I felt a bit self conscious coming out of the bathroom with just a voile panel over the glass. Don't let it put you off, we hope to return!

A wonderful property!

Well what a fab week we had! The property was easy to find and entry easy too. The property is very clean and spacious. Although there was only 2 of us had there been more there was lots of room in the property to accommodate a full occupancy. The bed on the top floor was huge and very comfortable so would assume all the beds were too. There was everything in the kitchen needed to cater on site and the huge fridge and freezer was a great help. Even though we were only about 15 mins from lots of supermarkets and shops the location felt as though we were hours away. Waking to seeing the horses in the field was lovely. We were blessed with great weather whilst there which made our days out great. We visited Mumbles, Pendine Sands, Tenby, Swansea and New Quay where we were lucky enough to see dolphins soon after we got there. I would have no hesitation in staying there again. Thanks to Bev who saw us whilst we were there :)
