Location is excellent and house has plenty of room

It was a lovely big property with plenty of room for at least 6 people without them getting in each others way - even though there was only 2 of us staying we normally go away as a family of 6 & this would be perfect for us as a family. Plus it also has a stairlift which was great for me to get up & down the stairs which I cannot do due to mobility issues I have. Delyth - the cleaner - was great & helped with questions - she was really friendly.

It could have done with some grab rails around the place & by the front & back doors. A shower seat would have been helpful as well.

Really spacious and close to beach, and the town was only a few mins away. If you wanted more then there was lots to do within a 30 min drive most ways

Probably needed an air fryer and a slow cooker but everything else that was needed was there!

The house is a very spacious and convenient location. Continue to serve well. It's close to the sea and town and the high Tide. Which is ideal.

During our last stay on the 12th of May 2025 , the white bed’s slats were damaged—Delyth acknowledged this and said it would be replaced. My partner repositioned the broken slats temporarily. Which was manageable given the promise of replacement. But on our recent visit, which was 11th July 2025, my daughter used the same bed thinking it had been replaced or even fixed, but it hadn’t—she fell through and was injured. Due to her epilepsy, switching rooms wasn’t an option as I needed proximity to my mother. Delyth showed concern, which we appreciated, but the injury raised serious safety concerns. A spare bed was mentioned but not proactively brought down. The house has potential but urgently needs better maintenance and a deep clean. Issues included: - Dust along skirting boards, mould in window frames - Stained bedding, no mattress protectors (some mattresses were yellowed) Oven and grill were unusable, forcing us to dine out - Dirty cups, fridge, and dressing table (covered in makeup) - Overgrown garden and lack of spare blankets (my mother used a baby blanket) - Bedding marked with white stains resembling paint - Delyth’s mother arrived unannounced and was dismissive, leading my mother to leave Despite reminders, the oven was never cleaned. Delyth later admitted that she forgot to clean it. I personally struggle to understand how such a key detail could be overlooked. recommend washing kitchenware before use and inspecting all bedding. Until the oven and bed are properly addressed, I advise against using either. We have photographic evidence of the injury and hygiene concerns. A refund is entirely appropriate given the circumstances. The property failed to meet basic standards — the oven was unusable, which meant eating out daily at personal cost, and the lack of cleanliness added further discomfort. These weren’t minor inconveniences, but tangible impacts on the experience. We would consider returning, but not immediately.

Very good location, plenty of room , spacious master bedroom, parking for your car excellent, everything you need for cooking etc

Holes in the walls , picture hooks but no pictures, mattress in master very comfortable but singles need new mattresses very badly,

Property shouldn’t even be on booking.com! It was filthy inside needs a deep clean! There were dirty used dish cloths, used soap bars, in the bath room shower was dirty in the cupboard were dirty tooth brushes left, razors, the shower must have had a disabled chair in before which had been taken out there were black mould on the tiles ever were. Toilets up stairs and down was dirty don’t think it’s been cleaned since I don’t know when! Really disappointed as have been booking with you for years and never experienced this before, we felt like we were in a care home for the weekend as in the hall way a stanner lift! Greeted us. Also there were ants everywhere in the lounge. The only positive is it’s in a great location and well equipped, it’s a shame as it could be a great place to stay with a bit of TLC and a really reap clean!!

The house needs taking if booking.com all together as people before booking need to see what there actually going to stay in,
