The cottage was roomy and well equipped.
Very quiet location, yes the dogs barked next door sometimes but they didn't disturb us much
Better details how to get the heating to work.
We had heat the first day but the radiators didn't come on again. We don't like to fiddle with switches.
We were warm enough though and there are portable heaters

The house had a nice modern open plan and a cosy wood fire, which was perfect for the evening. Comfortable beds and lovely views. The area around the house was beautiful and very peaceful.
Both shower controls were very hard (stiff) to adjust to get to the right temperature.
WiFi was not working at all throughout our stay.
(An engineer was booked by the helpful management company, but not in time for our stay, we were offered a free night for our next stay)
We were asked to strip all used beds. I would expect this to be part of the cleaning service.

Location was perfect for the Builth showground . Spotlessly clean , with nice quality linen .A teapot would be a handy addition.
Next doors dog barking was a bit annoying.
The tv was a bit faffy with all the remotes which didn’t connect very easily.

The whole cottage was lovely and spacious! Every room was clean and tidy. We loved having the window door open so coming in and out was easy when prepping the food for the BBQ.The dinner table was perfect and the house was cosy when playing card games. We loved that we were away from the village but close to a main road so getting to places were easy. Really recommend and definitely would come back again.

We had a lovely family break at Chapel House Cottage. It is relatively remote but that means it is lovely and peaceful. We would definitely return.

Lovely kitchen and living area. Good range of wine glasses. Gorgeous bedrooms. Loved the nespresso machine. Dishwasher tablets and food waste bags were provided, which was useful. The location was quiet and situated by a working farm I think.
Some of the oven bits were dirty, and the kitchen could use a few more items (bigger mixing bowls etc). If you like a large cuppa I'd bring bigger mugs with you. The beds are a bit hard but that's personal preference.

The property was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. it is set well back from the road which makes it quiet and peaceful.
The entrance/exit to the property was difficult initially but we got used to it.

It is a beautiful cottage in a stunning location, beautiful rooms, exceptionally clean.
Poor management, didnt receive address or access codes until the day of travel. No instructions on arrival, no dishwasher tablets, limited glassware and cutlery. Didnt know where logs for were kept. Cars block your exit from the property when at the church, you literally cannot leave the property whilst they're at church, hob doesnt get hot enough. We were deducted £15 from deposit for broken wine glasses, although we didnt use any. I dont usually write moaning reviews, but after failing to reply to my wife when she queried deduction and just taking it anyway I thought I would get my £15 worth,.as we do everywhere we stay , we left this property exactly as we found it, we cleaned every room, vacuumed and left 0 rubbish inside the property (I took photos). Not sure if it is unprofessional or unscrupulous ? Beautiful property, poor management

It was a beautiful house, perfect for 3 couples as three bathrooms.
Well equipped kitchen. Very peaceful location, so easy to relax.
There were no long mirrors and only a small make up mirror in small bathroom, and no mirror at all in 2 of the bedrooms.

Location was perfect for where the event was that I was staying at, was lovely and clean I loved the decor of old country and modern it fitted in so so well in the little cottage, nice little touch with the trivia games and Netflix, the bath in the master room was amazing.

The location is lovely, away from the road and surrounded by trees. The open plan kitchen-diner-lounge is a nice family space, and the cottage is good for a family. The garden is pretty, and secure with gates, and there is good parking. Our daughter enjoyed the trampoline. The bed linen and towels were good quality. We enjoyed visiting the Erwood Station Gallery and walking by the River Wye, only 5 mins by car. The surrounding countryside is stunning.
The cottage lacked some basic additions that would easily transform the experience to Excellent. Considering it sleeps 7 people there are only 5 small tumbler glasses for water, otherwise all wine glasses. The kitchen needs more equipment such as cooking dishes to bake family meals. There is no welcome book, so no info on bins, WIFI, how to operate the heating, etc. It would save a lot of guests' time to have this information. It may have been possible to walk from the house to footpaths but there was no info provided. The basic picnic bench and 2 deck chairs didn't feel enough for the possible 7 guests. The smaller bedrooms and family bathroom need mirrors. There are no extractor fans in bathrooms. These are all small issues that could be easily fixed. Unfortunately, cumulatively we felt disappointed overall for the price we paid.

We liked the outdoor space, the family room inside the cottage and the ample parking space.
The master bedroom was exceptional and our grandchildren were very comfortable in each of their chosen bedrooms.
There was always hot water for showers, bathing and washing.
There was plenty of room for eating, playing board games and relaxing.
The outdoor seating in the form of a "pub style" picnic bench was not very flexible for our group of six; a table with separate chairs would have been better although we did make use of the two deckchairs.
There was a shortage of some basic cooking items e.g. colander, slotted spoon, mixing bowls.
The fridge/freezer really struggled to keep all our food and drinks cold in the unusually high temperatures.
The downstairs double bedroom's ensuite was a little "cave like" inasmuch as the lighting was very poor for the shower cubicle squeezed in at the end....although we did appreciate having that facility!
We avoided using the cooker and grill pan which could have done with a good clean!

Beautifully decorated cottage with a sweet little garden. Lots of parking space for all guests. Absolutely stunning master bedroom with wonderful en suite (open plan). Loved the large dining table! The host was attentive answering all questions we had prior and after arrival.
Things that could be added:
A welcome book with house info, more large pots and pans (it was hard to cook multiple dished for one meal), more kitchen equipment (glasses, cutlery, plates etc)

Everything else. The cottage was comfortable, modern and everything we four ladies could have asked for and more. We travelled to celebrate a birthday and have a chilled out and relaxed atmosphere which the cottage exceeded.
Tom Tom the gorgeous ginger cat was a very popular visitor as we are all animal lovers. We enjoyed it so much so that we are considering re booking again for another break. Thank you Nicola.
Only downside which has no reflection on the accommodation is that the local takeaways would not deliver to the cottage. We travelled to celebrate 2 of the ladies birthdays so driving to pick it up would have been an issue.

I think it was a quiet, secluded cottage with a very Victorian feel about it and very nice to stay in. Old-fashioned chairs NBC, doors and a helpfully modern extension.
Only complaint is that you cannot walk anywhere from the property without getting in a car. It is very near the River Wye, but the river itself can only be reached in a 5-10minute car journey. Similarly Builth Wells which is the nearest town, 5 mins away.
