Nothing. Didn’t even stay the night
Cobwebs in the hut, dirty tissues in the bed side cabinet. Bed touches the floor when u get in (no matter how heavy you are), bed sheets we itchy, location on top of a hill so don’t attempt in a 1.0 car (you’ll never make it up.

It was all great.

The pod was small and basic, but clean. Views (when they were visible :) ) were great and the starry sky at night looked fab. The showers/loos were also clean and well maintained (the shower gets a special mention for being well above the average campsite one). Dolgellau is just a relatively short walk away and has a good selection of food options.
Some extra hanging hooks in the pod and maybe a small shelf under the USB charger would improve the usability; but it's a minor niggle.

The property was in a beautiful location, run by friendly people who made us feel so welcome, with everything you could possibly need. It was clean and cosy and very well organised. We will definitely be returning and we’d recommend the MotoCamp to anyone.

Off grid and wonderful setting! Comfortable and clean.

It's in an absolutely gorgeous setting, lovely views and a quiet, open area. Just enough for us for one night. The pod was lovely and the compost loos were lovely and clean! This place was perfect!
We didn't get to check out the other areas like the flushable toilets and showers as we only stayed the night!

The property was quirky, beautiful and comfortable. Can’t believe how much of a bargain stay! Steph was so welcoming and nothing too much trouble. We look forward to returning.

Good communication from the owners, easy to find, accommodation as exactly described BUT the location is incredible - We stayed in the cowshed and the undisturbed view of Cader Idris is unrivaled - Blew us away. This pod is set slightly away from the amenities so fantastically private so if you need a digital detox or reconnect with nature - this is your place. We enjoyed day tripping the local area followed by evenings of bbs, fires and watching the stars - simply magical and will be returning soon x

Clean. Quiet. Everything you need for a fantastic stay. The Honesty Box expresses trust and is spot on. MotoCamp Wales is one of the best camping sites we have been to in 30+ years. Cordially recommended.
Nothing we can think of.

The pod was in a beautiful setting, looking out over the mountains with it's own fire pit and picnic table, very secluded.

Friendly welcome from the owner's friend who was looking after the site for a week, as well as two lovely dogs! The pod was cosy and comfortable with lovely views of Cader and beautiful stars at night. Thoughtful touches like leaving hot water bottles for us to use. We loved the bar and snug area and had it to ourselves the night we were there. It was well equipped and even free tea and coffee and an honesty bar! Comfy sofas and tables and chairs- we felt like we spent the evening in a homely living room and enjoyed all the motorbiking adventure photos around the place. The main star of this place were the showers- my friend and I agreed one of the best showers we'd ever had! great heat and pressure and clean, with a big changing area. We'd walked 15 miles on the Snowdonia Way that day so a brilliant shower was such a treat. Thanks for a lovely stay!
Pod was the far side of the field so a little walk- but can see how that would make for a more secluded stay when the campsite is busy, so not a big issue!

Everything! The pods are practically equipped with anything one may need. The site is huge and very peaceful. We also loved the shared spaces, for extra comfort. Town is also lovely and with loads of options for food and drinks, but we preferred to enjoy the campiste!
Nothing!

Motocamp Wales was a perfect stop on our cycle tour through Wales. We stayed in one of the pods, which was basic but comfortable, with access to clean showers, a well-equipped kitchen, and bar facilities. A great, no-frills option for anyone touring the area – friendly and functional.

Lovely little pod to sleep in - came prepared this time with my fire stove but it wasn't really the weather for it so made the most of the snug instead. Niche bonus was I could get down to down, do Parkrun and get back for a shower before checkout time - often that sort of thing requires permission for a slight extension but with it being so close to town it worked fine. Pod was warm enough - didn't get the hang of the lights but had my own lanterns anyway. Shower was clean and hot with good water pressure.
The auto turn off on the lights in the toilet is a bit enthusiastic - ended up in the dark at one point.

The quiet and location
Long walk from pod to facilities in the Welsh rain 😂

Beautiful setting, nice atmosphere, simple getaway.
Nice host
Kitchen facilities are away from the pods but this is accounted for by nearby water, toilets and provision of flasks and hot water bottles

I totally loved the pod. The location was absolutely perfect. The facilities outstanding.
Getting away and being off grid exactly what I needed.
The location is stunning a perfect location.
I really look forward to my next visit.
There was nothing to not like.

Phenomenonal stargazing with the dark sky area! Lovely sense of privacy and freedom, with the pods being far from everyone else on site. Honestly incredible.
We didn't 'not' like anything but I'd warn slightly more pampered travellers that this place is rustic and basic, with the sawdust toilets and so on. For us that was fine as we have both done some pretty remote expeditionary travel, in fact we loved it, but if you're used to lots of comfort and amenities then be aware it may not be for you. If you want a truly incredible camping experience, and feel truly remote whilst just a few minutes drive from the real world, then you've got a great spot here.

sola powered lights were not working this was disappointing no light around the pod at night time.

We loved all of it. The pod itself was really cosy and the beds very comfortable. There were nice little touches like hot water bottles and flasks provided if we had needed. Sadly it was too wet to sit outside, but the outside areas had lovely views and space for fires. The snug area and kitchen was a lovely touch and so well furnished with everything you would need. The showers were some of the cleanest and nicest we’d ever had in a pod. There was even WiFi in the snug and decent reception in the pods. We had a lovely stay, despite the rain.
Nothing we didn’t like.

Quiet site, but close to town. Pod was in a quiet spot, and had excellent views of Cadair Idris. Pod was comfortable and not cold (weather wasn’t great). Really like the communal room and kitchen. Bathroom/shower/toilet areas were clean. Obviously popular with bikers, but you don’t have to be one - I learnt a bit about bikes etc, which was good. Hosts were very friendly. I was an idiot and left a bag there, but they have been very helpful in helping to sort this out. Would happily stay again :).
It’s not a criticism, but perhaps just a little more visibility for the Welsh language. The reason I say it is because some aspects of my work involves working with tourists. I live in an area where Welsh speaking is low. Many foreign visitors are fascinated by the language and want some level of exposure to it. We tend to point them to the areas where the traditional strongholds of the language, like Eryri/Snowdonia. Again, items not a criticism, more a marketing suggestion!

Fantastic location for our two walks the unbelievable views on the precipice trail and the mighty cader /cadair idris. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the facilities superb we couldn’t fault it in anyway and are already planning further trips around the area.

It’s a beautiful place
The toilet was very smelly due to being a compost toilet

Isolated but still within 20-30 mins walk of Dolgellau town centre. Magical location; very peaceful with pods on edge of forest about 150 yds from shower block and communal kitchen and common room. (Drop toilet in forest near to pods).
Kitchen spotless and social/common room with biking theme really cool !
Personally, nothing I didn’t like but I was lucky that the weather was good.

The apartments were clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. The location is fantastic! Not too far to the shops but so secluded and peaceful.
Nothing, it was fantastic!

Beautiful location and helpful services, such as shower etc
The bed was quite uncomfortable for me as a 6'4" man. Hadn't expected a camp bed, but maybe I should have?

What didn't we like...the place was great in every way.
Place was excellent, host Steph was lovely, her dogs were very welcoming, our dogs had a wonderful time and are feeling a little sad! Location was perfect for the trips out we'd planned just 10-20min drive
Star gazing was a added bonus.
We genuinely can't wait for our return.
Thank you Steph and team.
The drive in and out is a little steep but that's to be expected
