like that it has a log burner and lots of extras to make your holiday more enjoyable

The light inside isn’t great but it’s an old building so having to have the lights on a lot also could benefit from a more modern stove would have been nice to be able to take the dog also

We really liked the place. A small village, spacious, charming surroundings, a beautiful old-style house. The kitchen has everything you could want, and the furniture and beds are very comfortable. The children are well taken care of! There are various games, a house and even a large rocking horse🎠We had a wonderful time there! We visited the Devil's Bridge, which we went to by steam railway, and visited the steam museum. Also, the great weather allowed us to enjoy Borth beach and the Ynyslas sand dunes🏊🏻‍♂️⛱️

Magic!

We only spent three nights in this wonderful cottage and we really didn't want to leave. The house and its surroundings are something else. Perfect location, lots of greenery, birds and animals around. Wonderful silence, just what we needed. One can only hear birds and the sound of water in a nearby stream. It is close to Aberystwyth where it is very easy to do all your necessary shopping. The house itself is full of character, very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. There is everything you need or even more. Lots of board games, books and other bits and pieces so if one needs to stay home, there are lots of things to do. Kids definitely won't be bored ;) In Wales, however, it isn't easy to stay indoors when there is so much to see around. Our hosts were also perfect! Thank you so much for everything.

Quirky spacious cottage perfect for a get away

Fabulous house, perfect for 2 families. Very well set up with well thought out extras - toys, books, milk, bread. Loved the log fire in the lounge. The kitchen was well equipped for catering for 7 of us. A 10 minute drive to Aberystwyth. After a bracing walk on the beach we had a lovely time playing games and catching up around the log fire.

The cottage was fantastic my family will definitely be returning.

The cottage was large, clean and stocked up with milk bread tea coffee etc allowing us to settle in before having to get groceries. The area surrounding the cottage was beautiful and very quiet, the locals were very friendly.

Unfortunately the local shop is now closed. The buses into the town are approximately every 2 hours, so the location is best accessed by car.

Lovely quiet location within striking distance of several national parks and attractions. Property had all the facilities we could want including a well equipped kitchen. Lounge area was very spacious.

Amazing stay in a beautiful property

A wonderful home from home, beautifully furnished and with many little extras. Beautiful bedrooms, a huge living room and a great kitchen. Lovely, quirky building which has been really loved in the renovation. And fabulous hosts - Terry and Di, thankyou so much for your generosity and for making our stay simply perfect :-)

A gorgeous, homely place.

Lovely location, which we chose so we'd be near the coast. The hosts were very welcoming and efficiently adjusted the boiler within minutes when it decided to play up. The beautiful house was very well stocked, and a lovely touch, even milk, bread and butter on our arrival and so much more besides. The beds were really comfy, plenty of furniture to put away our clothes. There were plenty of towels, bed linen etc for our use and even several toiletries. Lots of space in the house for chilling out, reading, watching tv or playing games. Plenty of games, books and dvd's available too.
