We all really enjoyed it.

Excellent location, perfect for Black Rock Sands and local villages. Beautiful and secluded. Downstairs was excellent. Had to watch my head upstairs and could have done with an upstairs shower but otherwise excellent. Loads of space downstairs.

Nothing we didn't like. Ideal for 6 people.

Wonderful stay in Wales!

The property was lovely and spacious in a beautiful peaceful location , everything we needed was available including lovely comfy garden furniture so I could sit quietly and read my book! The housekeepers were very easy to contact as was unsure about a couple of things ,location was great and very central to many places to visit, wonderful stay, i wanted to live there!

Its very hard to criticize anything as the property is amazing, maybe the restaurant menus and information leaflets need to be updated as when we went to the restaurant which was recommended, the menu was drastically different and some of the leaflets with recommendations were out of date!

Magical getaway if you are in search of peace and calmness

Perfect getaway to a remote peaceful Cefn Isaf. We were two families (4 adults + 4 kids) and it was absolutely amazing. The property is super spacious, bedrooms are a great size. Beds comfortable, fire place adds magic to the place. Sounds of sheep somehow comforting. Overall would definitely come back!

Lovely cottage that makes a great base for exploring the area

2nd time we've been her and another great location for seeeing the North West Wales. Looking out onto the sheep and lambs, easy walk to the top of the hill to see Black Rock sands. Good selection of books to read anda few games, comfy beds and furniture. Love the light airy feel and high ceilings

2 sets of gates to get to/from the property are a little inconvenient but if that is what is required to keep sheep and lambs safe then I can live with the minor inconvenience.

Enjoyable, peaceful cottage in a secluded beautiful part of Wales

Well catered for property in an ideal location. It was comfortable, warm and clean.

Would definitely stay again

Very beautiful and spacious converted barn, easy to reach and private. Very good pricing. 4 bedrooms (2 doubles and 2 twin rooms) with 3 bathrooms (1 ensuite). The place was beautiful, well kept and extremely comfortable. We could have easily stayed for a much longer trip and would hope to do so in the future!

The housekeeper communication was lovely but the official email introductions and welcome after booking and just before visiting come across aggressive. There is a lot of information about what not to do in the property and what we have to do. Not all those instructions applied to our group and it did not make us feel welcome and tbh started the trip off on a bad note. It would be worth reviewing the wording on those emails/messages or considering if it could be sectioned off so people can read what's relevant to them, as opposed to being bombarded with stern instructions that don't apply to them. It's a shame to colour such a lovely property with such negative communication before arriving.

Exceptional

Tranquility, hospitality, amazing views, lots to see, but on site, great walks, chance to relax unwind. Wake up morning look outside sheep chilling on a slope. Mountains at distance beautiful. John & his wife were a great help. You simply settle, roll, and flow forward. Great experience. I would highly reccomend it to anyone. The couple who looked aftered us even helped us with directions. We should have listened to them and gone other way on our way out. But to families thinking of going cefn isaf do it. You wont regret it. It has the right setting.
