Great location, shops, cafes , restaurants at the end of the road. Very nice pub opposite . Car park road the corner although a little expensive to use. Hotel was brilliant , had a lift , room was huge with 2 double beds , great bathroom . wardrobe and tea, coffee, biscuits , bottled water and kettle in room. Fantastic air con too. Staff cleaners come round and ask if you want new towels or bins emptied or anything else. All round excellent place and service.
Can't really fault anything .

Clean and modern interior. No whistles and bells but felt higher end. Bed and bedding comfortable. Nice powerful shower and very clean bathroom. Not noisy at all.
Toiletries lacking - for example no free toothpaste. The shower door unhinged from the runners - but I managed to get it back on, the shower was good apart from that. The aircon blows onto your face in the bed, I had to turn it off in the night.

Great location for O2 academy. Lots of shops and places to eat and drink nearby. Comfy bed and clean room. Very helpful staff. No parking but plenty of spaces a 2 minute walk away!
Minor issue- Blind in our room wouldn’t open so no view. We were on the ground floor facing the street so didn’t feel comfortable opening the sash window for some fresh air, and noticed window wasn’t locked when we arrived, glad we checked as could be opened from outside! Air conditioning didn’t feel effective. Digital room locks very sensitive so access took a while! Not sure if we accessed the temporary congestion charge when travelling through Oxford so that’s something to consider!

Clean, easy to find, comfortable bed for a good night’s sleep & in walking distance from the Colleges

Very helpful host, great location with local amenities on the doorstep, very clean & comfortable, good shower, access code that works properly, surprisingly quiet. Also good value.
Parking is a pain. There is a cheap car park nearby but there were no spaces. Street parking is almost 100% permit holders only.

Ideal location, top quality stay, staff were excellent!
The fiddly door key situation. Having to download an app to use keys for the room. Mobile cellular signal not great so made it a bit of a clunky start

Location excellent for our visit to Oxford. The place was clean and the access codes were easy to use. Facilities like tea and coffee and water were excellent. The duvet was too small for 2 people, but apart from that, it was very good
Duvet was too small for 2 people. I can't find anything else to write that I didn't like. It was all very good thank you

The location was perfect for us because it was near to a venue we were going to that evening.
The room was spacious, clean and beautifully done out, as was the hotel as a whole.
Staff were really friendly. Walking distance of the botanical gardens which are gorgeous.
We were only there for one night, but we were so impressed with this hotel. We had a really lovely stay. We would definitely stay there again next time we are in Oxford.
No complaints at all really. There isn't really a stopping place outside to drop things off- nearest car park is about a 3 minute walk away. A quick walk but took us ages to find it in the car and there weren't many spaces. This isn't the hotel's fault though! Oxford is a busy place. We were still able to

Property was clean and modern
No mattress protectors on beds. Just coffee in room no mirror in room only bathroom

Room, cleanliness
Reception staff did not seem to know anything about the app used to open the doors. Gave me a code that was very easy to guess. Safe did not work.
6.0 / 10.0
The receptionists were very helpful. The beds were comfortable. Nothing else.
This is an odd hotel. We had a so-called "deluxe double room" ground floor. It was large but bare of any comforts apart from the bed. There were big empty floor spaces but just one uncomfortable desk chair; no where else to sit. No luggage rack. No shelves in bedroom or bathroom to put toiletries and other personal items. In bathroom, only one hook and no place to put clothes. Shower has no signs for hot/cold. The windows look onto the street with no screen. The heating system was impossible to adjust, so you either froze or baked. The decor is severe minimalism; black and white room, solid purple curtain, no pictures, cushions, etc. The concept is monastic. If you are a monk or a nun, you might love it. Otherwise, not.

Good location very central

The room was nice
I hadn’t expected it to be soulless. I hadn’t taken on board that there was no breakfast and one of the blinds didn’t work and the room was ridiculously hot and the window opened only inches. Perhaps I’m not used to Oxford prices but it seemed a lot of money for a clean bed!

The location and the bed-it was far too cosy lol

Location was excellent. We were heading to a gig at the O2 round the corner. Lots going on in the area and this was a great place to stay. Clean, quiet and comfortable.
Nothing really. It completely met our needs.

Location, size of room, clean
Nearby car park is too small and realistically little chance of parking. Should recommend other options beyond just one car park. We ended up parking at the park and ride but would have been more satisfied if we had known to do that from the start.

The price was very good for central Oxford and the room was clean and quiet
It was quite impersonal no facilities apart from the room

Exceptionally clean hotel which is very well run. Staff were on top of their game and extremely helpful despite it being a self check-in hotel. I was sceptical about staying where there was no food option at first, but when we got there, we realised that you can walk out of the door and onto a street teeming with eateries, shops and cafes open from 7am till late at night. Very good location. The building is new and the rooms were spacious and clean. I am disabled and used a wheelchair and also put my shower chair in the bathroom with ease. The staff were really helpful. it was extremely clean. I would book this one again.
The storage room must be a touch musty as some items came back with a slight tinge.
No cancellation policy.

location is great, well connected with bus, reachable by foot from the station, many nice restaurants and cafes around, the street where the hotel is located is very quite
I received two codes to enter into the hotel, one for the front door, and another one for my room, which was its number. As it was not clear whether the door of my room could effectively be locked from inside, I was wondering whether another guest could enter into my room.

Clean, comfortable room with excellent air conditioning. Lovely bathroom, good shower. Nicely decorated. Felt new.
TV channels did not include BBC1 and ITV. Noisy doors. Could hear guests above running around late at night but that may have been a one-off. Hotel was located further out of the centre than I anticipated.

Very central, excellent value, very clean.
Took us a minute to figure out how to work the key codes. But phone assistance was immediately responsive and it’s very easy once you know what you are doing.

The hotel is newly renovated, and everything is done up to a high standard. The staff member at reception was very friendly and allowed us to store our luggage before check-in. Air conditioning in the room was appreciated during the summer.
Nothing much to complain about.

Lovely and warm, with a good location with excellent staff!
A bit of water dripping from the shower and the shower head was a bit dirty, but other than that it was lovely!

A bit soulless in its cleanliness. But great value for the money.

Fantastic close to location to attend a music gig.
Clean and modern hotel.
The air con, even when off was noisy.

The location was spot on. It’s a shame it didn’t advertise a breakfast. It would’ve been nice overall me and the lads were happy.
Parking was very difficult, but we managed to find one eventually that’s the only thing this hotel lacks

The WiFi was pretty bad and I had immense difficulty connecting.

The owner of the property really impressed me. He and I chatted about when he bought it and got started and he was very happy and thankful to hear that I thought he was doing a great job! I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it!

A very friendly service, extremely helpful young man at the reception desk, spotless rooms, quiet location (despite the pub across the street). Great beds. A possibility of luggage storage during the day. We were using public transport, so the availability of bus stops was an advantage too. Walking distance to the city centre. 5-10 min to many local bistros.
Nothing.

Staff were very helpful.
A bar fridge would have been helpful.
Some noise from across the road and above our room.

The staff was super nice and helpfull! The apartment and location were good!
I gotta say the check in system is not intuitive, and the goki app was nice but not really that cool to br forced on, but overall was a good experience

Staff were helpful. Room was a good size and in good condition
Net curtains or obscure glass should be added to ground floor room as it looks out onto pub seating. Not noisy, but not private with curtains open

Was very surprised by how nice this proprty was, and at a good price for Oxford. Will recommend that my family stays here when they come to town!
9.0 / 10.0
We particularly liked the size of the room and the newness of the hotel. Air conditioning was very effective and although our room was at the front of the hotel and facing the pub opposite it was not noisy.
The only downside was the suspension of the nearest bus stop which meant we had to walk a little further with our cases than planned. However, this was not a major problem. Provided you are prepared to walk the location is fine for getting into the city centre.

Very clean. Nice rooms
Found it a bit challenging to get in! …but fortunately a member of staff was there to help!

Clean, new and good size rooms.
A bit far from the center and tons of road works all arose the area.
8.0 / 10.0
The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable! It’s a newly renovated apartment and was very quiet given it was a Friday night and right across from the pub. Easy walk to some great food and cafes and could walk into Oxford city or it’s a super quick drive.
Sound travelled a little due to no carpets (although I liked no carpets for cleanliness!) and we had the room down stairs right at front so couldn’t leave our curtains open — not a big deal though!
