After three weeks of exploring Italy, we stayed at Hotel Academy for our final night because of its convenient location — just about 10 minutes from the airport. Check-in was smooth and pleasant, and there were plenty of great restaurants within walking distance, which made it an easy and comfortable stop before our flight home.
The hotel is located in an older building that appears to have undergone remodeling. While it served its purpose well, it could have been cleaner, and the rooms would benefit from a fresh coat of paint. Our basic room didn’t include a smart TV, which might be a downside for longer stays, but for a quick overnight visit, it was fine.
We didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t comment on that, but overall, Hotel Academy was a convenient and practical choice for a short stay near the airport.
