Super stay - high quality furnished room, and quiet late on, despite the vibrant atmosphere at the adjoining pub. Only thing I could perhaps find fault with would be the high tog rating for the duvet (which made for a rather warm night !)

Excellent Pub (food and drink selection), prices good with discount on drinks post meal. Lovely ensuite room.Great 1 night getaway. Will definitely go again

Fabulous staff. Excellent food. Very comfortable bed. Shower head had a leak but was replaced very promptly. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only slight criticism would be that it was a bit messy near the bedrooms.

We booked last minute randomly to break a journey and i'm glad we choose this Inn. The hotel was full and the bar was absolutely packed as they had 3 large party bookings that evening. Despite this they found room for us to eat and the food was excellent despite the pressure the kitchen must have been under that evening. The room was clean and well presented and everything worked and it should, all the staff from top management to younger newer members of staff were attentive, professional and friendly making us feel valued and welcomed. This is testimony to their staff training and team building. When considering just how busy they were you can see why it is so popular. A little mix up with our coffee order at breakfast is quickly forgotten about when the staff resolved it quickly and ensured we were looked after. Overall and great place to stay with a pleasant walk available along the adjacent canal, but it was the staff who really made it special and we would be happy to stay there again.
