Very clean, extremely polite and helpful staff.
Having a £5 car parking charge announced at check-in. I booked via booking.com and this additional fee was only declared after I’d booked.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Ideal location for our needs. Options to eat on site were good.
My only gripe, there was only a double duvet for the single bed.

The location on route was excellent 👌
Getting into the car park needed a little patience 😊

Location
Friendliness of staff
Basic room but clean and warm
No tea/coffee facilities in rooms if you wanted a hot drink you had to go to reception , travelling with pets made this difficult as didn’t like to leave them alone in room
Also no glass/beaker in bathroom so couldn’t even get a drink of tap water

Large room suitable for a disabled person ,very clean ,large shower area .
I bumped my head on the bunk bed above the main bed 3 times ! Who disabled needs a laddered bunk bed 🤷🏼♀️
Tea and coffee in the room would have been a bonus instead of having to get dressed and go to the entrance to make it

good location close to a main route with other facilites adjacent (coffee, restaraunt etc.). Clean room with a comfortable bed and air conditioning.
Breakfast was not good especially at the price, quite dried out by 9am and only sachet instant coffee. The room was also rather odd, the toilet was wall mounted and too high with feet not reaching the floor, This looks to be mistake caused by the tiling level being set wrong (too high) with the WC as low as it could be on the tiling. A wall light right next to your head while watching TV is another mad decision. The lack of power outlet next the mirror and lack of bedside shelf to both sides just added to the inconvenience. Very bad design.

Location, great pub opposite with carvery. Also Subway, little Waitrose and lovely little cafe all opposite too so plenty of places to eat and drink.

The beds were really comfy and the rooms had some sort of soundproofing because we couldn't hear any noise. However, as soon as we opened the door of our room, the music from reception could be heard. FYI our room was next to reception. We booked 2 rooms.
They only left one towel for a room of 2.

We stay regularly at the Ibis Budget Derby and always find the staff to be friendly and helpful and the hotel to be clean and comfortable. The quality of the breakfast is very good.
This hotel offers good value for money!

The location isn’t beautiful but that wasn’t an issue for me

I have stayed with Ibis before, and in a budget for staying overnight for next day activities.
It is just what I need and a price I can afford.
The room is clean and warm, coffee and tea in reception you can take to your room.
And a bar for a drink to relax after a long drive.

Overall a good hotel and would stay there again staff were friendly. it was easy to find and check in. Also great for the dogs as nice bit of green behind the building for a toilet and stretch place. But I will have to remember to bring my own bedding as the bedding in my room was cheep and had holes in it. I also only had one pillow on my double bed but staff were easy to get another one.
The bedding felt cheep and it’s a bit of a let down that there’s no kettle in the room for teas and things but they do have a station in reception so you still can make stuff but just not as convenient.
Also I had to pay for parking which is also annoying.

A very quick overnight stay ahead of an earlu meeting 12:45 am to 08:15am. Reception guy really helpful (short wait while he sorted a pizza for another customer). Breakfast 'did the job'.
Need some signage as you come past the pub on the left to show Ibis is at the end of the road past the car park for other outlets.
Car park very busy. I got to barrier and sign suggested I needed a pass. Parked and went back to Reception who said just dirve up to barrier and it will rise - not clear.

It did the job - had no complaints for the price
I didn't sleep too well - unsure if it was to do with the pillows were too small (the casing had a lot of empty space) or just a new surrounding

Clean and tidy
Impossible to sleep in certain rooms due to the traffic. I have stayed here before and slept fine.. on this occasion my room was so close to a busy road I couldn't sleep at all... it tells a tale when the hotel sells ear plugs on reception... a bit of a p155 take to be fair. They obviously know how loud it is. The ear plugs should be complimentary as a minimum

The bed was comfortable.
Not very much space in the double room. No bedside cabinet or drawers. No tea making facilities in the room, had to get to main reception to use facilities there. No choice of hot drinks other than tea or coffee which I don't drink. Would be nice to have a least a bottle of water in the room (also and no iron or hairdryer in the room).
I had a look at another room where 3 guys were staying for work purposes to see if there was a change in size. It had a bunk above the double bed but was no bigger than the room I was in. Made it feel very claustrophobic and not ideal for 3 grown men.

On the whole it was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. It’s ideal for a night to stay while doing anything else. For a longer stay I would say that the rooms are a bit small. Second time I’ve stayed here and will probably stay here again if needed. Didn’t stay for the breakfast as we had to leave early but it looked good. For the price it was fine.
No tea making facilities in the room and we had to get extra pillows from reception. Not a big problem and I know there’s complimentary tea and coffee in reception but I like having tea making stuff in the room.
Also there was a very noisy group of people outside in the entrance and it their voices echoed around the building. Not particularly the hotels fault but it didn’t help with sleeping at 2 am.

Clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly
The beds were very narrow. Although it was relatively cheap i have stayed in similarly priced budget chain hotels with better facilities. Eg bigger single beds, tea and coffee in the rooms, baths etc. for this level of amenities and in this area the price should have been considerably less.

Because it is budget the rooms have no extras like glasses hairdryers etc.

Fantastic shower, room is small but clean.
Breakfast was a rip-off! Very little choice and cost almost £10. Only ultra processed rubbish on offer. They didn't even have fresh coffee, only instant.

It was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good. It's a shame you have to pay for a decent coffee.
Our shower didn't drain too well .

When I was coming out of the shower a strange man walked into my room, he had been given a key from reception.
I went down to reception to explain what had happened, the staff apologised for the mistake and asked for my name, this made it clear to me they had checked me into one room and gave me keys for a different one.
After that incident I was not able to relax and could not sleep, I left very early the following morning feeling very tired.

Helpful and friendly staff
The vent on the outside wall was blowing in cold air as I slept in the bed the plates for breakfast are very small.
I also stated we were coming for my father’s funeral I was given room 39 which is next to the bar area as there is no door separating the corridor and bar I could hear all the noise and couldn’t sleep as it was loud.

The room was sparce but very clean and had exactly what I needed a bed a shower heating
No tea or coffee in room ( There was free coffee in the reveption area but I dont want to walk the length of the hall and down a flight of stairs for a cup of tea.

Location is convenient. It was quiet even though it’s close to a busy road. Clean, except for the smell in the toilet.
The rooms were very hot and stuffy. I couldn’t get the temperature to go down even though there was a thermostat in the room. Had to have the window open all night when it was very stormy outside. The pillows were very thin and lumpy. There was a strong urine smell in the toilet. The rooms really aren’t very welcoming, very stark and clinical feeling. Toilet was a bit like a cupboard, sink is in the bedroom area and the shower is like a plastic formed pod. Reminded me of a slightly upmarket prison cell!

It has some shops near it
The beds were uncomfortable, the hallway smelt, the lay out of the room was awful for the price
