Generally a nice stay, I was very disappointed by the fact that croissants were not available for breakfast because they were awaiting delivery, which I was flabbergasted by. Especially as the whole is plastered with flyers saying how good the freshly baked croissants were !!!

You know what you are getting with this hotel chain - Dundee rates highly on staff who were particularly pleasant, helpful and friendly. It isn’t a great city to walk in late Friday night!

Doublebed is no double, a 140cm bed is a big singlebed Sewer/drain from other rooms notice Breakfast was poor, plastic scrambled eggs, no cheese or ham to bread/buns. Just some glue jam. Horrible coffee Breakfast interior very dirty and greasy/sticky ( look at picture at sofa backrest. Lady at checkout asked about our stay and we told her and she came up with a horrible answer.

Convenient stay as an overnight stop off. Mulit storey car park (which you have to pay for)behind the hotel with a linked walk over bridge. Fast check-in and maps to take showing the lical area and places of interest. Two lifts for the 4 floors, key card to get through initial door on each floor. Compact rooms, with everything you need, but no air con, which is needed. If you're lucky enough to have a room on the front it faces Tay bridge, however we were given a room on the back which faced the car park and was noisy. Complimentary breakfast was good and all in all, hotel was a decent stop over for what we paid.

Stayed one night during my travels. Hotel was a great location with connected parking garage. Easy check in - Jordan was great and provided good recommendations for dinner nearby. Will stay again.

The location of the Hotel is quite good. Not far from oldtown and several museums. The room and the bed was okay, what was really disappointing was the breakfast. In other Holiday Express Hotels I had a much wider choice of joghurt, bread, cheese, etc. It was truly basic. And the coffee, was simply not drinkable.

We did not like the fact that though the hotel entrance is outside the ULEZ AREA access via the adjacent multi storey car park is inside the ULEZ. There is a bridge from the second floor of the car park into the hotel reception. Having previously used this facility we were shocked to get a fine for entering the ULEZ all be it only 20 metres. Maybe the hotel should warn guests of this problem. We should mention that the reception on duty ?Yanster was exceptionally helpful by sourcing alternative car parks.

We asked for an accessible room on booking and on arrival, we were given an accessible room but the walk to get there was long and not accessible for those with limited mobility. When we queried this we were told that it was because we had booked a twin room despite it being the only room available and that this is where the twin accessible rooms are and we should have phoned them to arrange a suitable room, which wasn’t made clear on the website, and we felt our views and comments and my wife’s disabilities weren’t taken into account. Apart from that the room was comfortable and clean and the rest of the staff were friendly.

We had a room on the 4th floor with a great view of the Tay bridge. The hotel has a great breakfast selection and it's a good way to start your day before exploring Dundee. Easy walking distance to the V&A and Discovery Point. Bus stop outside the hotel takes you to Broughty Ferry if you want to look round the castle and sit on the beach.

Room was clean and modern, with everything we needed for 1 night stay. Was disappointed that we had to return to reception after check in as no bedding was left for sofa bed upon arrival. upon our return it had been dropped off in room. Sofa bed was not especially comfortable while main bed was. At breakfast Hotel appeared short staffed which led to breakfast items being low or finished with no one to replenish them. Tables were left for periods of time uncleared as only one person working in dining area, she did her best to clear tables, help customers and replenish food but needed help. Generally hotel nice, all staff we spoke with were friendly and did their job as well as they were able.
