The hotel was lovely, modern, clean, everything you needed in the room, even a hotel hairdryer that actually dries hair!! Room keeping was done every morning with fresh sugar and tea bags, towels and toilet rolls and anything you forgot they had at reception ... like we did a toothbrush!! The location was brilliant, very close to the town centre so everything was in walking distance. The staff were so lovely, welcoming and helpful. No question or request was too much, even provided a fan for the room. Lovely and chatty and remembered our reason for staying and asked us about it throughout the stay, even recommended a shop near by that we absolutely fell in love with! Breakfast was lovely! A bit of everything for either cold or cooked breakfast. Will definitely stay again!

There is no parking for the hotel, except the multi storey car park behind. Up to £10.70 per day but you do get a 25% discount when staying at the hotel so took the sting off a little. No plug sockets next to the bed, which isnt helpful for someone with a CPAP machine! Luckily we always travel with an extension cable because a cpap and 3 people to charge phones would be impossible on 2 plugs attached to the vanity.

Wonderful stay.

All the staff were friendly, smiley and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We definitely felt looked after.

Breakfast included. Staff very helpful. We did not realise that the nearest parking was in a LEZ . This should be highlighted and show where the car park is close to hotel and keeping out of LEZ. When we phoned about this a member of staff helpfully explained where to go.

The staff were all absolutely amazing! Yan was very helpful and informative regarding the hotel and local area also helped me with a telephone enquiry before I arrived. The breakfast was lovely and room service for snacks was nice too. Rooms were spotless.. house cleaning staff and maintenance staff were so nice and helpful too.

Not much room to move around. We stayed for 4 nights. I think the room was small but okay for myself and daughter when the sofa bed was put away for the first 2 nights (we shared the double bed) the other 2 nights after my mum arrived it was a bit cramped. 3 people in the room with very little storage or floor space was a squeeze. We booked a family room.

Hotel in a great location for seeing the must see attractions of Dundee.

Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Location was ideal close to all the attractions Dundee has to offer. Christmas decorations in reception area are really lovely.

On check-in the lady said that I had booked a Double Accessible Room when in fact I had booked a standard Double. She said that the accessible room was really nice and large with a wet room shower. When we arrived at the room there was a pull cord in the centre of the room which we pegged up with a hair clip to save us from getting entangled in it. The room was quite cold - the Shower room was freezing and had no heated towel rail or means of heating - therefore showers were very quick! I did mention the above to receptionist on checking out. Breakfast was ok bacon had been sitting around and was inedible, haggis was cold.

I would definitely stay in the Holiday Inn again and Iqould recommend to others

The hotel in very comfortable and very handy for getting to shops and train station. The staff were all very friendly, none of them would walk past without saying hello or giving you a smile which was really nice. Breakfast was included, it was a buffet breakfast which was very tasty. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were good. There is a comfortable lounge where we were able to sit and have a drink in the evening.

My room was good but my parents also had a room, their room was dark. There was only the 1 big night in the room which was over by the door and it didn’t light up the room very well. The floor in the bathroom could be doing with at very least fixing if not replacing.
