It was a great stay ! Had some issue with check as a result of IT booking system ( wonder similar to airport cyber attacks! lol) . But reception staff solved it in a few minutes. Very happy with reception service . 6 Start . It’s in the same building of dundee train station! I wish they could make a hidden lift entrance to the station:)

Very handy for us! Straight off the train and into the hotel. Very close to RRS Discovery, short walk to HMS Unicorn for visiting. 5mins walk to Beefeater at the Premier Inn or into the town centre.

Ideal location. Very basic room. Very clean. When I looked on web site it said buffet breakfast but didn’t realise the charge was £11.95 per person. On arrival at hotel we were told price had gone up to £13.95 per person.

The hotel is located at the same building of Dundee train station. The customer service is good and helpful. This hotel offers a high quality breakfast. The bread is freshly baked and delicious, the drink bar is spotless and well-stocked, and every item—from hot dishes to fruit—is of exceptional quality. A truly impressive start to the day.

The hotel was very clean and the staff helpful and frendly. Breakfast was adequate but not as good as travelodge which in itself isnt great. The bed was too firm for me and the shower impossible to use without soaking the bathroom floor.

We didn’t really eat there but they were kind enough to fill our water bottles with ice each morning and night. Internet was fine. Loved having the train station, bus stop and restaurants steps from the front door - perfect location for us. We used the Lounge every night after our walk back from dinner.

The staff at this hotel are great. The location is excellent for the twin but it can get a bit tense at night. The rooms have no windows and rely on an aircon unit. Ours didn't work well. Other rooms on the corridor had similar issues (they slept with their doors propped open). Overall an OK stay but not great despite stellar staff. It's the building (e.g. the managing company that lets this place down).

Booked here for 80s calling at slessor gardens which was 2 minutes walk. We travelled to Dundee by train from Glasgow hotel was right at station. V&A across the road bus stop to st andrews outside. The best part was the staff always very attentive and pleasant and the bar prices were cheap compared to most hotels

We have stayed at this hotel many times when it was sleeperz It has had a very classy facelift in the communal areas and the bedrooms have a bit of facelift too It was always a reasonably priced hotel it’s a bit more expensive now And with that increased rate I feel the breakfast could be better and more of choice and more Scottish Apart from that no other complaints The staff are very friendly and helpful and a credit to the company

Gorgeous hotel in a great convenient spot. All staff were friendly and nice. Rooms are lovely too but lack a fridge and iron and ironing board and if being really picky, the bathrooms are very small. The rooms were really nice though. Great lighting, bedding and seating. The only other point that could be improved is the breakfast option. A scottish breakfast would have been nice as the choices were limited. The lack of food availability at any other time is also a drawback. They have a lovely bar but no food service other than breakfast which is a shame as it's such a nice place to sit and admire the V&A, having a meal there would be even nicer. We would go back though due to its convenience and comfortable rooms.
