The room itself was clean, food on the premises was amazing but very expensive.

The pool was too busy we couldn’t use the steam room or hot tub as it was crowded. As I said food is expensive also so best eating out. Check in is 3 but even at 3:40 we were still waiting. Fully understand that it’s busy but maybe make check in later. No one said on booking if you drive with your car there’s also a £7 charge to keep your car there.

Enjoyed our stay, room a little too warm and small attentions to detail re- cleanliness

Attentive staff checking in at the spa.

Curtains were stained and dirty as well as cushions on the bed. Room was very hot going to sleep in despite heating being off and a fan on.

Friendly , clean and great value

Varied menu including a set dinner menu which was great value . Also a lighter bar menu . Lovely servers who gave me a super table with a great view which sadly as a solo diner , seldom happens .

The windows in my room were draughty amd let noise in during the night . Had i been staying for more than one night , I would have asked to move rooms .

We were looked after throughout our stay and all staff were welcoming.

The reception was good by the staff who were all attentive to our needs. The room was in good order and spacious and very clean and well laid out. Parking next to the building which allowed us to have a short period in Dundee shopping.

It was a well equipped hotel in an area handy to explore Dundee. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good. Room was very comfortable and spacious.

Excellent stay over Christmas.

The size of the room was perfect and the bathroom was a great size with a separate shower and bath. The complimentary toiletries were top quality and full size. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job and replenished the stocks of coffee tea and water regularly. We had breakfast and there was plenty to choose from on the menu as well as a Continental choice plus cereals toast and pastries.

The wardrobe space was plentiful but there were no drawers which was a bit of an issue. This was the only problem with the room.

Friendly, professional staff. Even though busy in restaurant, (fully booked), accomodated us in lounge with full menu.

Only stayed one night. Would definitely go back. Bit noisy, but that was due to works Christmas event which is to be expected this time of year.

I don't think I will be back

It was familiar as I had stayed there before, so I knew what to expect as it was great the last time. The reception was good, the room was nice

the staff were cold and regimental in the dining area. The ordering time was lengthy, asked for water with no ice and it came with ice. It was hard to find the mozzarella in the tomato and mozzarella salad. £4 for 5 half roast potatoes was extreme The room was nice but on the second night there were gale force winds and no one checked to see if I was ok being on the top floor and the room was being battered all night with wind. I know they can't control the wind but it was frightening and a call would have been appreciated

Large, new hotel with spa

The room was large and very well appointed. I always appreciate a comfortable armchair with good lighting and I had my choice of two in this room. The massage I booked at the spa was wonderful and just what I needed, and being able to follow that with a hot bath was truly regenerative.

Those booking through Booking.com should be aware that the hotel requires guests to respond on line to information requests which, if not completed within 24 hours of the request, purport to cause the hotel to cancel the reservation (also true for the spa). I was not able to complete the request on line and it was not an easy task to gain the attention of the hotel chain to alert them that I still intended to arrive as booked. Once I got through (after several direct emails and also messages sent through Booking.com), I was reassured and felt very welcomed on arrival. It was, however, a difficult quandary, since I couldn't tell for a couple of days whether I had a reservation or not, and the cost of cancellation would have been fairly high, all things considered, so I couldn't simply find alternative arrangements. Again, once the issue was cleared up, my stay was lovely.

Staff were very friendly and attentive!! The room was alot bigger than expected and very modern and clean! We had 2 big beautiful windows with an excellent view! Our room had a separate shower and bath!!! The quality of everything was well more than expected for the price we payed!!! The spa and pool were easy to access at anytime! The hotel itself is only 5 mins walk from the town centre and from the train station so very easy to get to and to get around!!!

I didn't like that I only booked it for 2 nights!!! I would have loved to stay for longer!!

Comfortable, clean hotel in a great location for the city centre.

Friendly and helpful staff from check-in onwards. We got into our rooms 2 hours early as they were ready. Room was very clean and comfortable. We ate dinner in the hotel and the food was excellent and very good value. We benefitted from a Black Friday deal, 3 courses for the price of 2.

When we visited the spa it was very full of young men. Both sauna and steam room and also jacuzzi. There was just enough room to swim in the pool and no more. I believe they have non resident members, so that was perhaps those who were in. This was around 5pm.

I love how nice the breakfast was as you could choose from the menu what you wanted. I had the pancakes that were so lovely. It was clean and tidy. They give us free bottles of water every time the room was cleaned.
