Would we return? Yes almost certainly Indigo would be our first choice.

Good location, warm comfortable room, spacious dining room, good food, very pleasant staff.

Did not realise that we needed to hang a housekeeper sign on our door as none was available. We wrongly assumed housekeeping would be done. Fortunately we did not require housekeeper except for a minor problem. Perhaps available signs should be checked or at least information as to what is required should be available in each room.

All aspects of my stay met my expectations as I have stayed at this hotel before and was not disappointed this time. I was welcomed and greeted by friendly team members and my room was clean, comfortable and very well appointed. A lovely stay as always.

Hotel lobby is very nicely decorated. Late check out amazing. Beds are very comfy.

Decor is tired in the rooms. I've stayed before and this time there was small things missing. The restaurant is extremely expensive.

Highly recommended

I was very impressed with this Hotel and, when travelling to Dundee, will stay here again. I loved the architecture, particularly the high ceilings and large rooms. The breakfast was exceptional. Staff were also exceptional, friendly and caring. The young girl who was the cleaner on the 1st floor was such a nice person and keen to assist when asked. My room was very clean and had everything I required. And is obviously very good at her job and an asset to Indigo. The bed was huge.

The huge bed was comfortable but, as it was created by two large single beds, had a dip in the middle. However, this is a small point. It would have been good to have a couple of bottles of water for arrival. I realise , in Scotland, the cold water from the taps is very drinkable but, it would have been a good touch. I had difficulty working out the controls for the room heating. I managed to work out these controls only on a trial and see basis. To counter this it would be good to have the instructions, simply laid out and stuck to the wall underneath the controls?

The most luxuriously beautiful hotel in Dundee.

Everything about this hotel was amazing and it's stunning. Fantastic location too. Loved all the little historic Dundee touches sprinkled throughout the hotel. So quiet considering the hotel was filled to the brim with families and tourists. Stunning room with an equally stunning view.

Parking situation is not great and a charge of £14 is outrageous.

Shambolic Breakfast

Location good . Reception/Bar area and rooms very clean.

Breakfast was a shambles the Hot food was overcooked and cold. 20 minutes standing to wait to be seated some guests never got served breakfast the milk was sour the coffee machine was dirty overall was a shambles of a service. The Bed was way to soft and uncomfortable but this is just my preference.

The bed was comfortable

The thudding music in the dining room as there was a works party going on which meant we opted for room service for our evening meal this was just warm. Breakfast although good and plentiful again was just warm.

Disappointing.

Nice hotel,staff friendly, good food.

Poorly staffed. One person in bar on Saturday night, hotel very busy, staff member clearly stressed. Breakfast next day- only 2 staff on duty for over 100 guests , one of whom was the trainee duty manager. An hour wait for breakfast once seated. Staff very apologetic, they did the best they could, management need to consider staffing levels. Very disappointing as have stayed at hotel before and never had such poor service. NOT the fault of the staff who were on duty - they were very stressed and completely overwhelmed.

A gem. Very good value for money. Had an excellent night.

Room was surprisingly very nice for the price paid for the night. Comfortable bed and good spacious room. Window being left open to allow air flow during the night made a more comfortable night for me personally. Staff were polite and approachable, and although I did not utilise the dining spaces, they looked fantastic.

I feel the parking charges are a little significant. I understand it is in the city and is very convenient to park at the hotel. This would be my only minor gripe, and compared to other car parks it is a lot cheaper. This would not affect me staying here again or recommending the property to friends and family.

Well what can I say - Indigo was the most amazing surprise! Lovely staff, nothing was too much of a trouble and excellent breakfast in the morning. Had an excellent night sleep! Spacious rooms and bathrooms were added bonus.

Being able to hook up own Netflix to the TV would have been great. Other than that honestly can't fault it, fab hotel!

Dundee weekend

I liked the way the hotel kept some of the features of the old mill, which was the original purpose of the building. It gives it character and charm. The staff are friendly, helpful and polite. The location is great, the city's attractions are within walking distance.

We were lucky to get a parking place on site, but I think the hotel needs more spaces to accommodate the number of guests.

Decent hotel, but beware of parking price and £50 mandatory damage deposit that comes off bank card.

Reception was lovely and modern. Rooms were clean and tidy but not as luxurious as the reception. More a 3.5 than 4 star.

Parking was really poor. Car park nowhere near big enough and if you did manage to find a space they charges you £13.95 for the experience. Given it was £143 for the one night with no breakfast, the parking price was a rip off. It’s Dundee not Monaco.

Great stay, very comfortable hotel with exceptional staff.

The staff ere outstanding, especially the front desk. Nothing as a problem for them. Great breakfast and dinner options as well. Room large and comfortable.

The shampoo and conditioner positioning on the wall outside the shower as a bit inconvenient and the black console and light switches made them hard to see.
