A Beautiful Hotel.

The room was beautiful and a brilliant way to re purpose an old Mill. Very well equiped kitchen and the bathroom was a good size. Very comfortable hotel, and staff were very helpful. Very clean rooms

Just one bedside lamp rather than two The bed was too hard for me, and hard beds make my back problems worse. Could be more egg choices at breakfast - and also the addition of mushrooms and tomatoes would have been good. or even sliced haggis as we are in Scotland. I had to wipe my table before we sat down to eat as hadnt been cleaned - it was a Sunday so probably less staff and we did come down to eat at 9.30am

The hotel on arrival was really quite nice, the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel overall felt quite fancy, the room was nice although a little cold throughout the stay even with the heating on, the kitchen was spotless and the bed was nice and clean and had nice led lights built into the headboard, the shower could have beeen doing with being regrouted as the discolouration took away from the niceties of the bathroom, but other than that it was really clean the parking was a little pricey if you can get a space but there is a car park 2 mins from the building , the breakfast was 10 out of 10, hands down the best ever scrambled eggs you could eat , I was actually informed that it was made using cream..the hash browns were golden toasty triangles of heaven, the bar is a little expensive but for the convenience a couple of drinks is nice before retiring upstairs to your room .the hotel itself is a nice and quiet place where you are left alone to enjoy the peace and quiet , overall it was a great experience and hopefully will be back soon

The room was lovely , very clean and comfortable, breakfast had a great verity of hot and cold food all very tasty

The heating wouldn’t work in our room was a very cold night , tried everything to get it to work contacted reception who talked us through it but still didn’t heat the room feel asleep and woke up freezing

A great place to Stay by the Tay

Warm welcome, easy check in. Lovely communal area at Reception. Spacious rooms,well maintained and retain features of old Mill. Location great for the centre and the proximity to Gallacher Park.

Disappointed that the Staybridge side no longer has Christmas tree or any decoration in the breakfast area, as it did before it joined the indigo hotel. Feels like a poor relation to the Indigo side- such a shame as the Staybridge is our favourite hotel in Dundee. Breakfast was once again understaffed and the poor young girl was run off her feet in trying to cater for a busy breakfast service. The food, cutlery,bread and utensils were frequently in short supply. There is very limited choice of cereal and the toaster needs fixing,as it only toasts one side of the bread ( this has been an issue for quite some time). Would be good to be able to use apps on the smart tv - BBCiplayer Netflix etc

Charge for parking with limited spaces Being charged for room at check in then discovering it was a pending charge which resulting in paying again at checkout but need to wait 2-3 days for it to show back in my account ! No room clean at weekend is outrageous. Had to request dirty towels removed and clean towels and bin s replaced after making our own bed.. price does not reflect this and not told at check in. Breakfast at weekends disaster, no glasses , spoons and food constantly running out!!! Shame really as the staff tried so hard

Great stay in Dundee but not sure it was the best value for money

Good location for our plans

Don’t like that parking isn’t included with stay. Paying another £28 above £240 for 2 nights was a bit much. To also have the fire alarm going off twice in the early hours of Saturday morning meant our day was ruined, as we were both exhausted by mid afternoon. Breakfast was also very cold on Saturday morning, and a long wait for fresh hot items on Sunday.

Dissapointed.

Liked being central to town. Room was lovely clean.

Some of the staff seemed nice, But booked an extra nite as i have been struggling with health they wanted an extra deposit which i shouldent have had to complain about as i dident have it it added to ny anxiety put a damper on my stay. I did manage to get it sorted in end afger making a complaint to booking.com to which i shouldent have had to do. And even after what i experinced never got an appology from any member of staff and had to pay 50p as they missed this out of the payments which i felt was pretty poor considering the stress and not sleeping due to not being told about any of this until i made my 2nd payment. I did manage to get it sorted in the end but felt as though i was treated unfairly.and shouldent have had to complain and go through that when this waa meant to have been a relaxing stay. I also think the portions of food are not value for money for what you get and the price you pay. The first meal i got was stone cold. Amd therefore dident enjoy it as had to re heat.

The breakfast had good variety and the room was fairly clean.

Where to start... The fire alarm went off within an hour of arrival and the staff just continued to check people in at reception whilst I stood outside for 10 minutes wondering what was going on. Someone eventually told us that it was nothing to worry about. The room which we stayed in was comfortable enough but there wasn't much in the way of tea and coffee making supplies. There were also structural steel columns going through the room. In the room my mother stayed in, there were two structural steel columns, one right in front of the toilet - a safety issue for anyone getting up to the toilet through the night. The air conditioning, heating and bathroom fan all appeared to be non-functional, as the temperature of the room didn't change when adjusted on the thermostat and the bathroom walls got covered in condensation when going for a shower. The damp in the bathroom has caused the silicon to start going black, so could do with replacing and there were marks over the walls so could do with a lick of paint. Before going out for dinner at 6:30pm on the first night, I made staff aware that there were bags of rubbish in the hall from other guests, namely Indian takeaway boxes that made the whole hallway smell of grease. The same takeaway boxes were still sat in the hallway upon returning to the hotel at around 10pm. Although I understand this is a result of guests being lazy, I was disappointed that the issue wasn't taken care of sooner. In conclusion, I wouldn't return and would rather spend that little bit extra and go to the Hilton.

Lovely accommodation which made a visit to Dundee pleasant indeed

Heated mirror, cheerful Saturday morning breakfast worker, she was lively and super helpful. Clean decent suites. They are happy for you to make pack up sandwich from breakfast for later eg sausage sandwich. They cooked us vegan sausages to order too.

Pillows bit hard and duvet material not the best. Generally happy overall though

Went for breakfast at 10 and there was no hot food left apart from beans. Breakfast was supposed to go onto 10.30, and when we asked at 10, I was told no more hot food going out.

Stunning Suite

My suite was immaculately clean, quiet and spacious. All staff that I've encountered have excellent hospitality skills. I always feel very welcome. I've booked Staybridge Suites many times. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Dundee!

We stayed in a comfortable studio apartment at this hotel, conveniently located in the heart of Dundee. While the reception staff came across as unwelcoming—leaving us with the impression that we were inconveniencing them—the restaurant staff provided a very different experience, being consistently kind, attentive, and helpful.
