We arrived late at night, but we had not hot water. Beds were very comfy. Hotel not on beach, it’s across the very busy beach. In the morning still no hot water… and staff did not really apologize for us having to take cold showers… I felt like they didn’t really care.

Its a beautiful property with good amenities, close to everything and the food was superb. However when they know we are yhere on business not a holiday we should be put up the back away from the music which was unbelievably loud, that loud we could not even hear the TV in our room, this was a real turn off for us and a shame. Would definitely visit again for a holiday but would not stay there again when we have to go over for business.

I recently enjoyed a 6 night stay. The property has beautiful lush gardens and all of the staff are very happy, polite and helpful. The buffet breakfast is all you could want, with many different options to choose from. Pool towels were included, which is fabulous but I wasn't aware, and I packed my own from home. Perhaps this could be advised at the time of booking. Pool towels can't be taken to the beach, so you still may need to bring your own from home. My bed was king size with 4 of the softest and largest pillows - sleeping was just beautiful. Rooms were sprayed each evening for insects and beds turned down. Rooms were freshened each morning with clean towels, bins emptied and bed changed as required. The rooms are starting to feel like a renovation could soon be needed. The free nightly entertainment was fantastic in the outside dining area, with undercover available for the entertainers in the rainy season. The Triple Trouble band with Tigor Sihombing (lead singer) playing on Monday nights were just amazing. Tigor was a recent X Factor Indonesia finalist. It's a shame they didn't play more than just once a week because they're so good. They play at Tipsy Tortoise on Fridays, so I went to see them again (very close by). Management - book them to play more than one night a week! I had a few different minor issues in my room but everything was actioned immediately, and my stay was good. Thanks to management for a great hotel, highly recommended.

This was a great property. The staff was excellent and very attentive. Food at the restaurant was great and the dinner entertainment was very enjoyable. The pools and lounge chairs were really nice. The only issue was the numerous fireworks at night causing some noise pollution.

Our overall stay at the hotel was good. This place offered service, a clean room that needs a little bit of updating. Nice pool. Breakfast is average, nothing special. We only ate at the hotel during our short break and became sick 😫. Vomiting isn't pleasant. However, the location is not that great either. Do your research regarding the surroundings and cleanliness. This hotel is nice, but area is not.

Pros: Staff go above & beyond. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast enjoyable. Staff member Mini is professional and attentive. Cons: Niksoma is disappointing. Requires a serious upgrade and renovation for the price. The junior suites don’t deserve the room category “suite”. Old. Dated. The toilet holder fell off the wall. The Venetian blinds don’t close properly. The stick for blinds fell off. Requested another room (classic room). Better but still old. Drawers did not close properly. Fireworks early hours woke everyone up. As did the cats that screeched all night. Certain hand towels were grey. Not white. PLEASE RETIRE THESE. Not “hotel” standard. How can you give these to guests. They look like rags. This is a 2-3 star property at best. The pool is very deep. All sides. Both ends. No one can stand up in this pool. No one. Not enjoyable. Wine glasses brought to room as room service request were dirty. Each day same. I would not return here. Not even for free. There a better hotels around for similar price. Don’t chase beachfront when your stay is compromised with low hotel standards. The staff are not to blame. But renovation and life-cycle maintenance have been severely ignored. The hot water system had a maintenance issue which left guests without hot water. Having a semi cold shower was the end for me. Don’t bother with this one. You can thank me later. Lessons Learnt: Think like a hotel guest. ALWAYS. Review standards or lower your room rate to under $100 a night.

Staff were great. Loved the nightly entertainment. Disappointed to be sent a dozen emails saying I could purchase an upgrade, but I couldn’t get a free upgrade for my gold status (no reason given). Breakfast has very little vegetarian options. Other than that, place was exceptional. Highly recommend it.

Hotel was everything we were hoping for based on others reviews. Unfortunately, we learned that the hotel will be closing sometime in 2025 for a complete renovation. I hope the staff can survive during this process because they make this place special. There is a lot of congestion in Bali but once back to this hotel you feel relaxed.
