Disappointing

We booked the studio villa - for 3 nights from Dec 30 to Jan 2,2026, but stayed only 1 night and moved to another villa. Unfortunately, the villa is very different from the pictures shown in the listing. Upon arrival, it appeared to be under maintenance and not clean, which was disappointing. Issues we experienced: • Bathroom was dirty with many stains • Bathtub was not working • Water flow from the washbasin splashed everywhere due to improper drainage • Terrace was dirty and moldy • Walls were dirty, and overall the villa felt unclean and poorly maintained TV was available in the room but no channels. Because of these conditions, we did not feel comfortable staying and decided to leave early. We feel misled, as the actual condition does not match what was advertised, and it was not worth the price paid. On a positive note, the staff were nice and friendly. However, they dressed very casually and did not wear uniforms, which felt less professional compared to a hotel or concierge service. I am sharing photos to show the real condition of the villa so future guests can make an informed decision.

Exceptional, stunning facilities and service at Origin.

Beautifully presented villa, located 200m from Seminyak Village. The staff were exceptionally attentive and professional. The pool was the perfect temperature and the facilities were well maintained and sparkling clean. The villa complex was also quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend.

There was nothing bad with the villa - it was perfect. As an observation, the stairs were a challenge without handrails and could present an issue for people with mobility challenges or children.

This is the second time we have stayed in 2 years as a family. We love the location, the staff are super friendly and the villa is great. It is a little tired due to weather damage but still the bathrooms And bedrooms are incredibly clean and comfortable.

We love the breakfast! Delicious chia lots, kids love the banana pancakes and the fruit platter is divine. Friendly service and the location is second to none and tucked away just enough!

Absolute heaven. Perfection

Great property to stay at. They have the friendliest staff, where nothing is a problem for them. Prime location just 150m from Seminyak square in one direction and the beach down the road in the other direction. These villas have inter leading doors and can be opened for larger families.

Luxury in the heart of Seminyak!

Stayed in Villa No.5 for 2 weeks, was such a lovely experience. Very Friendly staff ready to help and assist. Close to the heart of Seminyak Village and 5 mins to Petitenget Beach. Villa itself was fantastic - large and comfy king size bed, large bathroom and the pool was Devine! 10/10 highly recommend!

Do not stay

We were not impressed at all. The photos do not match the villas and the bathrooms were disgusting, dirty and old. There was also mold on our walls.

Our friend got electrocuted by using the outlet and then my son’s friend got locked in his bedroom and couldn’t get out until the staff had to come with tools and open it up. We only stayed one night and then we checked out immediately as we arrived at 10 PM and couldn’t go anywhere else. The next day we’ve had to find another accommodation because the bathrooms were so dirty and the mold was prevalent and it stunk.

Perfect villa in awesome location

Origin was a 2 min walk to Seminyak Square and Sea Circus for our morning coffees, and a few minutes to the Main Street, beach and flea market. The staff including Chandra and the rest of the team, were amazingly friendly, helpful, and so welcoming. The breakfast selections were varied, with some items changing daily. The villa itself was stunning. The pool had sunshine on it most of the day, the deck had been repaired and no sign of wear and tear. The villa was spotless, cleaned daily and turn down service, including mosquito protection each evening. Aircon worked perfectly and so did the hot water for showers. I’ve been waiting a few years to be able to get the dates we required at Origin and our stay was as great as we had hoped for.

The staff from Origin took special attention to take care of us during our stay ( especially Rama and Utami ); the villa has been well kept, pool is clean; water dispenser comes in useful; location is a stone throw away from all the Seminyak attractions.

Location can be challenging to find; especially if you grab. but staff are very helpful and will help you out anytime.

Relaxing and enjoyable stay in Seminyak

Very spacious and clean. Pool was refreshinginly cold. Not too cold, but just right to energize after sweating in the heat. Since villas are located on a very narrow street, traffic isn’t bothering at all. Nice and private. The staff was extremely helpfull and friendly. They for example organised us a massage in our villa. Breakfast and cleanin always on time. Easy to contact by WhatsApp and quick replies to all our questions.

I liked everything. Especially the staff. Everything worked. One note though, in case you have any disabilities which might impact your ability to use stairs, you might want to consider another option since the stairs to second floor and bedroom are quite steep.

MI BOOKING WAS NOT HONORED AND THEY GAVE ME A FREE UPGRADE FROM A DIFF APPARTMENT WITH A BAD LOCATION. SECOND I PAID A PRIVATE TRANSFER TO AIRPORT AND THEN THEY PUSHED ME TO SHARE. 3RD THEY FORGOT TO DISPATCH ONE OF MY BELONGING WHILE I SPECIFICALLY TOLD THEM NOT TO FORGET AND 4TH THEY TOLD ME THEY COULD NOT ANYTHING ABOUT THAT

Great for the kids! Beautiful setting and convenient location. Would come back again!

I loved the outdoor area with the grass and swimming pool, plus the fish pond inside near the kitchen. The kids loved that! I also liked that you could borrow pool toys and balls for the swimming pool. This was a real bonus and although seems small, it made a big difference having a soccer ball and pool floats. I loved that the master bedroom was upstairs in its own retreat. The location was fantastic, so close to a lot of great restaurants and walking distance to Seminyak Square.

I didn't like that the kids bedroom was downstairs and far away from us being upstairs in the master bedroom mainly because their room was off the outdoor area which felt exposed. After the first night this wasn't an issue. I also didn't like that the living room space and bathrooms didn't have the option for aircon, so it was stuffy and humid during hot days.

Great location, friendly helpful staff. Size and layout of accommodation was excellent. Very comfortable with fans and aircon which were essential. The private pool was fantastic and the breakfasts each morning were a nice treat. Fantastic place for a relaxing holiday in the heart of Seminyak!

We have been to this property previously and it was clear that this time it was showing signs of wear. We discussed this with the staff and they said that renovations were scheduled to start soon. If renovations are done well then I would not hesitate to recommend!
