Typical to have old hotel in Venice. A staff at check-in, not very friendly. Bed was terrible! I had a shared bathroom (no toilet or bathroom in the room) which I did not know until I got there. If you are expecting to stay in a nice hotel, this is not for you. But the price is reasonable.

It is located in a hidden street which are normal in Venezia. It is close to the water transportation and the Ponte Vecchio. The restaurant is great with abundant food, you will enjoy it

I stayed in the single room and it is wonderfully Venetian! Small, but perfectly formed. It was comfortable, with good storage space. Please note that the room is very dark; there is a window, however there is a shutter from another window obscuring half of it, so there is little to no daylight. The pillows weren’t great and could do with being replaced. The room was clean, fabulously decorated and good value. There isn’t a lift, and a big staircase, so be prepared if you have mobility issues. The location is fantastic, literally 3 minutes walk from main attractions. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Cute little hotel. It’s down a dark street… But I soon learned that is most of Venice. Front desk people were friendly. Room is small but has a large balcony. No lights on the balcony so it’s pretty dark at night. Comes with large towels and toiletries for the bathroom. Shower is tiny, so if you are need extra room this is not for you. I could not get the safe to work and it looked like someone had tried to pull it out previously. Our room was on the 3rd floor, so there’s lots of steps and you’re in charge of your own bags. No elevators. It was a nice stay and reasonably priced. Close to the waterbus and St. Marks.

I had a lovely stay at Hotel Centauro. I booked a single room for 3 nights, great service at the front desk. The room was neat and tidy, with AC. Very calm and well situated, near the Rialto and a short walk from Piazza San Marco. Plus, the entrance is in a very small calle, which is lovely! Very good breakfast served from 8h to 10h. Réception 24h. I highly recommend!

It turned out to be a pleasant stay, thanks to the response of the staff and their understanding. At the time of booking, thanks to Hotels.com incorrect information and hiding critical information, I ended up booking a smaller room. When I checked in I was surprised to see the insufficient accommodation. After a series of customer conversations and spending an hour on call, I finally made Hotels.com call the hotel reception to accept their fault. The hotel staff was kind enough to upgrade us to a bigger and better room at no additional cost.
