For its price range, this is the perfect experience: comfortable bedding, ample air conditioning, a great minibar, attentive staff, and a perfect location that's both peaceful and convenient.

The room was very deep inside one of the inner portions of the city, the surrounding areas were quiet despite its proximity to the busy rialto bridge. They had a cozy view of the canal at the end of the street which was a nice place to sit and watch the gondolas.

The information provided before checkin was inconsistent, like the wifi passwords didn't work and I along with other guests were not informed that we were sent details of our self-checkin using another communication app aside from booking.com's. Thank goodness other guests helped us figure it out since there were no staff present during checkin time. Even contacting them using their provided numbers lead to nowhere.

When we arrived the room we had booked had not yet been cleaned, however the staff were quick to fix the issue and move us to a better room. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a nice and quiet location but also only a short walk to great restaurants and shops. The bed was extremely comfy, overall we had a great stay!

The location was great and within walking distance of all the main attractions. The bed was comfortable, and once we were able to access the room, it was adequate for our stay.

The check-in experience was extremely disappointing. I completed the online check-in the day before arrival and also replied to the hotel’s message confirming that we would arrive between 16:00 and 17:00. Despite this, when we arrived within the agreed time window, the front door was open but there was no staff member present. After calling the hotel 10–15 times over approximately 40 minutes with no answer, I became understandably frustrated. When someone finally called me back, there was no apology for the delay. Instead, the call was abruptly ended and I simply received a text message with instructions on how to access the room. The staff member did apologise later via message, but the whole experience felt very unprofessional and gave a poor first impression. We later spoke to other guests, who mentioned that staff are rarely on-site. The room itself also had several maintenance and cleanliness issues. The bathroom window was broken, would not close properly, and was quite dirty. The shower drain was clogged, so after only a few minutes of showering, the bathroom floor filled with several centimetres of water, meaning I had to stand in dirty water for the rest of my shower. Additionally, the bathroom ceiling is extremely low, so taller guests have to duck to use it comfortably. Overall, the excellent location wasn’t enough to make up for the poor check-in experience, lack of staff availability, and the maintenance issues in the room. While the room was acceptable for a short stay, I expected a much smoother and more professional experience for the price. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
