I LOVE The Palazzo Eugenia-Minelli

I loved my stay here. From the moment I arrived, Matteo and Alessandro made me feel welcomed. My room was very spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious, and the location is perfect. Fantastic location and friendly hosts, but cleanliness was disappointing. Great potential, but would not recommend.

The location is fantastic—just steps from St. Mark’s Basilica, Doge’s Palace, and the Rialto Bridge. The hosts were friendly, and the coffee and croissants were appreciated.

The cleanliness needs much more attention. The bathroom and overall upkeep were below expectations and clearly haven’t been deeply cleaned in some time. A thorough cleaning would make this stay truly worthwhile.

Perfect location, great host, and spacious & comfortable room

Matteo was super welcoming and a fantastic host! Made us feel very welcome, and gave us some great tips and suggestions for making our visit to Venice go smoothly. Our accommodation was just what we wanted…..located a few minutes from St Marks Square but up a quiet alley, our room was comfortable and spacious for the two of us plus our 14 year old son. We could look out the window and watch the canal boats and gondolas cruise past. The breakfast gave us a solid start to the day!

Breakfast was included (which is a big plus in Venice) and very nicely served.

Great quiet location with very friendly staff that just did the job.

It’s located very close to the Grand Canal, water taxis, central tourist locations but is equally just off the beaten track enough that you can find peace away from tourists and the noise. It’s in a quiet area and as a solo female traveller, I always felt safe. Alessandro is lovely and accommodating. Waking up to a big percolator of coffee every morning was great!

Great location and authentic Venetizan palazzo experience

Location was excellent, so was the attention from the host. Charming place, authentic Venetian palazzo experience.

The apartment was as described, the only thing is that it could use an update since there are some things broken or not functioning (like the shower tap, or the cupboard where the glasses are stored). Also there were leftovers from previous guests in the bathroom (used up soap bottles) so the cleaning could have been a bit more thorough. Other than that, the place is lovely and I recommend it.

It is very well located, easy to get to all main attractions (8min to St Mark's Square) and close to main Vaporetto's stops and good choice of restaurants nearby.

The apartment needs a lot of TLC and bathroom in particular as well as the kitchen need major cleaning. The apartment is on the 4th floor (the landlord did warn us), the stairs are steep and uneven, not an easy climb for older people.

Location was very convenient for shops, restaurants and St. Mark's square, less than 10 minutes to water transportation options, breakfast was simple but good, the gentleman overseeing operations was very kind and helpful. Plenty of hot water.

It is an old building, as are many in Venice, but it was dusty and could use a good deep clean. Also, the boat noise from the canals was difficult to sleep through (a light sleeper using earplugs).

Minelli

The location was excellent the view from the balcony. It was fantastic of the canals, and we were able to listen to the singing gondolier and watch them pass by.

The beds were pushed together to make a queen so they kept separating. The shower was super disgusting, moldy and mildewy. The shower would take a while to get hot and then suddenly turn freezing cold in the middle of your shower and then take several minutes to get warm again. The breakfast was not much to speak of in comparison to all of the other breakfasts we’ve had at our stays in Italy. Basically just a croissant and coffee.

Such a cute authentic old Italian apartment, I’d recommend staying there.

The room was spacious and comfortable. It had a nice balcony overlooking the canal. Alessandro was such a nice host, carried our luggage up the stairs, answered all our questions and had our breakfast ready each morning at 8:00am.

You need to remember to shut the windows and doors at night, we got some bug bites.

Alessandro was more than welcoming and helpful! The room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast wonderful, and it is served to you in your room if you like. We are older and there are a couple of staircases to go up, Alessandro assisted us with our luggage and always had a friendly smile.

Perfect stay for 2 days

The location couldn't have been better. With a room overlooking the canals, we spent the rainy day simply gazing out of the window without needing to venture outside. I'm grateful for the early check-in too.

Simply not worth the Money

The staff was really friendly and helped with our luggage both when we arrived and left. Because there are lot of stairs. So it was nice! And the location of the building is really central of Venice. Everything 500m away.

It has come to our attention that there are some fundamental issues about the estate we are Living in. I am with my Girlfriend on summer vacation and this visit for Venice has been challenged by our experience from this estate. I have stumbled upon some exposed wire, which could be ignored but the bath is leaking or something is leaking so the water are running to the wire. Which we cannot overlook. I feel it is my obligation to make you aware of this!! Firstly there is a picture of a famous tower between the photos on the website, which we don’t understand why is it there? It is not near, you need to cross two bridges and talk around 400 meters and 240 degrees. resulting in the estate was impossible to find. Moreover, the address on booking.com is wrong. Or let me clarify, the address isn’t correct on Google but if you have Apple Maps you are able to find the location. This resulted in a two hour hunt. We did eventually end up giving up on our search for the estate, so we called the number listed, and was told to wait at our location for 30 minutes; we could then call again about 30 minutes later and realize this guy hadn’t even left the place to go towards us. I know this because we through Apple Maps (lucky) managed to find the location and called when we stood outside the building and the guy opened the door. And now for the apartment, you can look at the pictures at booking.com and compare them to those I attach below. We have a bed, some would say it has seen better days some would say it has been misused and no one cared to fix it. Moreover, and unfortunately I forgot to take pictures at that time, but when we arrived the linen of our bed was cleaned and it was great! But what was less great was to see how many spots our linen had on despite being washed.

LOVED this hotel’s character, room size, decor, small breakfast in the morning was perfect; staff was very friendly and kind. Wonderful accommodations.

The noise outside the room (canal side) once the sun is up is incredibly loud with workers on the canal, impossible to sleep through—there is nothing that can be done about it except perhaps wearing earplugs but it is a fact people should know, especially light sleepers.

Great location right in the centre. The host Allesandro was fantastic, he was very welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. It was excellent for a family of four, plus a great view over the canal outside and the morning gondola traffic jam.

The stairs up to the apartment are very steep, but not really a problem if you are reasonably active.
